It is the birthplace of my grandparents and father, and I went to Oshima for the memorial service this time. I found this place when I was looking for accommodation because my grandparents no longer have a home (because they passed away). We had a wonderful time while being healed by the nostalgic scenery.Tableware, detergent, pinch hangers, towels, and various other supplies were provided, so it was nice that I didn't have to bring a lot of luggage. All you have to do is buy the ingredients at the supermarket. However, since it is a rural area, the supermarkets close early, so fresh food is scarce in the evening. Procure ingredients during the day. I recommend. If there is one problem, it is that you can't open the curtains because you can see everything inside from the outside. However, I would definitely like to use it again this time.

When I inquired in advance about how to get there, the staff were very polite and helpful. Thank you very much. The following points are mainly related to hardware. Please forgive the harsh grading. The interior is reminiscent of a karaoke snack bar, and when you enter the front door, the living room with shoes on makes you feel uncomfortable. As someone steeped in Japanese culture, I wanted it to be designed so that you could take off your shoes before entering. There are two separate bedrooms across the living room. Both rooms face the national highway, and you can clearly hear the sound of cars driving. There is almost no traffic after 9pm, but sensitive people may be woken up by the occasional passing car.It is difficult to locate the toilet/bathroom. Since check-in is unmanned, no one will guide you.The thing that caught my attention the most was the window in the bathroom. When viewed from the outside, it is located in a position where people can easily stand and look into it, which is probably why there are curtains. The curtains don't close properly all the way to the ends, making it impossible to take a bath with peace of mind. Realistically, it's not a place where there are many pedestrians, and I don't think there are many people peeping, but since I was traveling with a woman and child, I was cautious and used the separate shower room. As you can see here, I got the impression that the interior as a whole would be fine. However, there are plenty of amenities, including towels, toothbrushes, shampoo, tableware, and seasonings. The living room was uncomfortable for resting, but I think it's perfect for a group that wants to talk all night long.
