I stayed here for one night as part of my Hanamaki sightseeing trip over the holidays. I arrived late at night by rental car, was guided to the parking lot, and went to my room. The welcome food was a large rice ball stuffed with seasonal mushrooms. The indoor hot spring bath, which is open until 10pm, is not large, but it was pleasant. It seemed like the inn's aunties and older brother were running it all by themselves, so the building looked like it wasn't being worked on in some places, but the futons and tatami mats were clean. There is a shared refrigerator where you can chill the sake you bought at the supermarket and have a drink for dinner. The breakfast was full of mushrooms, so if you're staying in the fall and don't like mushrooms, it might be a good idea to let them know in advance. As soon as you leave the inn, there is a public footbath on your left, and you can see the river from there. If you're lucky, you might even get a cat to talk to while you soak in the footbath.

I was going to be late for the check-in time I had booked, so I called in advance and the person on the phone said, "Huh?"The bath wasn't very clean, but it was nice because it had a hot spring source.There was a smattering of human hair on the futon in the room, which was uncomfortable.

The facility is very old, but the gracious proprietress welcomes you kindly and makes you feel very relieved.She will tell you everything about Nishiwaga in detail, so you can leave it to the proprietress to give you seasonal recommendations for the area! ️Although there aren't many flashy modern dishes, there are plenty of carefully handmade and delicious dishes, so you won't be able to finish all of them.If you are tired of your busy life, it might be a good idea to go there to heal yourself❗

Although I had booked a reservation from Jalan with the plan that included dinner, I would enjoy the proprietress's home-cooked meals in a private room, but I actually ate at the restaurant. It can't be helped because the inn is run by an elderly couple. The food was also not as good as I expected. However, the bath was pretty good.
