I stayed overnight after the Omagari fireworks. We walked for an hour and a half from our seats at the fireworks venue to the parking lot, then drove for about an hour on back roads and national highways, arriving at midnight. (I checked in in advance) I got wet from the rain, so I was glad to be able to take a bath right away. All breakfasts were very delicious🍅. There was no hair dryer so I borrowed one from another guest😆 The room was clean and the futon was clean.Even though fireworks were on special demand, I was able to stay for 6,000 yen, which I was very grateful for. I was drawn to the proprietress' personality. Next time I would like to stay with two meals included 😄.

This Minshuku Haruyama was the highlight of our stay at Lake Tazawa. It was a stay that felt like I was visiting a relative's older sister's house, and filled my heart and stomach with Akita's local cuisine. The hostess of the guesthouse prepares delicious meals every morning and evening! Meat, fish, hotpot, and locally grown vegetables are arranged in various ways on the table. We also had plum juice, plum dessert, and cherry jam made by the hostess. He also taught me a lot of recipes. When I came back from outside, she always asked me how my day was, and told me to take a bath 24 hours a day (Helston Hot Springs: Effective for neuralgia, lower back pain, rheumatism, stiff shoulders, fatigue recovery, etc.), which was true. It felt like home. This guesthouse is run by a grandmother who is in charge of the fields and flowers, and a quiet but kind son. I'm really glad I stayed here. In front of the guesthouse is Shirahama Beach, and the bus stop is also nearby. You can also go to Nyuto Onsen from here. Highly recommended. I would definitely like to stay again."Minshuku Haruyama" was the highlight of our stay in Tazawako. We could feel really at home - like staying at a relative's house. The owner's home cooking featured many local Akita delicacies, and the meals were pure luxury! We enjoyed many kind of meat , fish and vegetable dishes, and each dinner included a different type of nabe (Japanese hot-pot). When we returned from our day's excursion, the owner always came to greet us and ask about our day. For 24 hours a day, we could relax like it was our own home. Shirahama beach is right front of the guesthouse, and the bus stop is also nearby. You can also easily go to Nyuto Onsen from there. I highly recommend it and definitely want to stay there again.
