We were provided with so many delicious ingredients that we couldn't eat them all. Please note that the menu changes even if you stay for consecutive nights, so you may gain weight.

Late October 2023 Hinai chicken ramen 900 yenAfter enjoying the autumn leaves in Hachimantai, we stopped by Tamagawa Onsen and had lunch at the restaurant. I parked my car in a parking lot on a hill, and when I asked the person in charge, I was told that there were less than 10 minutes until the last order at the restaurant (13:15), so I hurried down the slope.I managed to make it in time and bought a meal ticket for Hinai Jidori Ramen from the ticket vending machine. Kamisan is an Akita Samadhi set meal that includes Hinai chicken oyakodon, Inaniwa udon, Junsai, and Iburigakko.A bowl of rice appeared soon after. The soup is chicken and soy sauce. It was a delicious soup with a slightly sour soy sauce and the rich flavor of Hinai chicken, but I wish I had tried it with salt. The noodles are medium-thin Chinese noodles. The texture was a bit lumpy, but it gradually became more supple as I ate it.Ingredients are chicken, menma, seaweed, and green onions. The chicken is breast and thigh meat that seems to be Hinai chicken. It's thick and quite solid. When you bite into it, the flavor oozes out. Wakame goes well with this soup. There are a lot of green onions and it's crunchy and good. The oyakodon I ate at Rescue had grilled Hinai chicken meat and was very fragrant and delicious.I finished eating all the noodles and ingredients, so I ended up leaving the soup alone.I enjoyed the Hinai chicken ramen, which was excellent for a hot spring restaurant.Tamagawa Onsen is characterized by its pH of 1.2, the most acidic in Japan. First, I soaked in half-diluted hot water to get my body used to it, but the water was so strong that I felt tingles all over my body and couldn't stay in the water for even a minute. It is also said that it contains trace amounts of radium radiation and is effective against cancer. If you like hot springs, this is a hot spring that you should definitely visit at least once. :

I went to this restaurant after visiting Shin Tamagawa Onsen where I was staying. I thought the menu would be similar and the taste would be the same, but I was surprised at how delicious this "Hinai Jidori Oyakoju" was! Overall a mild and harmonious taste. Because it is local chicken, the meat is firm and chewy. What is noteworthy is the richness of the eggs! I've eaten a lot of oyakodon over the years, but this is one of my top three delicious bowls of all time. I prefer it to a famous restaurant where there is a long line ✨Thank you for the meal, a wonderful cup that brings out the flavor of the ingredients ♪

Since I was staying at Shin-Tamagawa Onsen, I went there for a walk and also had lunch there. In conclusion, if I look at it as a mountain hut, I'll give it 3 points, and if I look at it as a normal restaurant, I'll give it 1 point... so I'll give it 2 points. And you can only pay by cash. So it's actually 1.5 points...I ordered ``Akita Zanmai'' for 1,100 yen and ``Wild Vegetable Soba'' for 900 yen.Akita Samadhi is disrespectful to the people of Akita...the udon has no chewiness at all. The eggs were fluffy, but the chicken was hard. The wild vegetable soba is zaru soba + 200 yen, so I thought it would come with luxurious wild vegetables, but no matter how you look at it, it's poor and at best it's an additional 100 yen? If you're going for lunch around here, Shin-Tamagawa Onsen might be recommended. However, a walk in the hot spring area where you can also take a bedrock bath is the best!
