It was built at the beginning of the bubble, right? If you look closely, the inn feels a little old.The air conditioner in the room I stayed in was completely broken, and when I turned it on, it only made a high pitched sound and blew a little bit of cold air. Will it become quiet if the room gets cold? Apparently I had left it there too late, so at 10 p.m. when I started going to bed, I realized that I couldn't sleep and went to the front desk and asked, "The air conditioner is broken. I'll never be able to sleep with that, so please change my room." I got it replaced (but I was the only one on duty after dinner was cleaned up at 7 o'clock, so I was told that I didn't know much about it and that it was a problem), but I got it replaced. If you look closely, you can see how old the building is, but especially the bathtub, which is built a generation ago. There is no elevator up to the 6th floor, which is the top floor, and the instructions say to get off at the 5th floor, which is one floor below, and then go up. It is difficult/impossible to bring the elderly. Also, the walls in the room seemed to be thin, so when the entrance threshold (sliding door) of the next room moved, I was surprised by the noise it made, as if the sliding door had moved inside my room.Although it is not specified on the agency's website, the "Free Wifi" mentioned on the inn's website does not exist and could not be used.Given the circumstances, the price was that of a luxury hotel, so I personally am not satisfied with it and have a low recommendation.A local told me, ``It used to be the highest quality inn in the area, and it wasn't the same as it is now (I didn't ask for details),'' but after staying there for one night, I understood.

The staff are very kind. All the dishes are delicious and full of volume!I don't usually leave anything at home, but I couldn't finish it all.I feel sorry for the person who made itThe good thing about the bath was that it was a private bath and you didn't need to make a reservation and could use it as many times as you wanted! The kids and I all went in together, and even if we were sweaty, it was easy to say, “Let’s go take a bath.”It's on the rooftop, so you can see the ocean from every bath.I was a little worried about the smell in the toilet and washroom in the room, but it was fine as long as I kept the ventilation fan on.It was a fairly steep mountain road, so please drive carefully.

Tokiwaya made a reservation on short notice during the Obon season. This is a ryokan located in a calm area called Toda.About 2 hours from Tokyo, the ocean that stretches out beyond the mountains is spectacular. The guest rooms offer views of the port town, and the baths, which can be reserved for the whole family, are also attractive. When the automatic door opens, the receptionists at the counter will welcome you with a friendly smile and customer service. I felt a great sense of hospitality from the close and friendly customer service, which was different from a hotel. The guest rooms are older, but some have semi-open-air baths. It is sufficient as a room to sleep in.The first thing I look forward to is the dinner menu.Since it was only available during the Obon holiday, sashimi such as kingfish, tuna, and yellowtail were served in boatloads. Other than that, the menu was such that you could feel the love of the chef in every dish.In the end, there was more than I could eat, so I was very satisfied with the food.Guests can also enjoy fireworks and fishing equipment rentals while looking out at the ocean from the port across the street. The next day, we went to the beach, which is a 5-minute drive away.As it is located in the bay, there are almost no waves, so even small children can play safely. This was my first trip to Toda, and for three days I was able to fully enjoy the city and its warm heart.thank you very much.

I stayed here for 1 night and 2 days on a trip with a friend. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by arriving later than expected, but thank you for your courteous and kind response. It was a heart-warming trip with the smiles and warmth of everyone at the front desk and those serving the meals. It was the first time I had grilled shrimp and ate it whole, and I was so impressed. I used both the large public bath and the private bath, and my skin became smooth. The coffee and tea service next to the front desk was also nice.If I had to say, it would have been easier to understand if you had confirmed that there were some places where the shower and hot water were not available, or if there had been a notice to that effect (both of us ended up having a good laugh without going out). However, I think it would have been better if the shower temperature could be adjusted like in a private bath.thank you very much. I look forward to seeing you again.

I used it the other day. Due to the circumstances, I had to make a selfish request, but they did not show any offence, and on the contrary, they were considerate of me. thank you very much.I am very satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the food.
