This is a vintage pension that has been renovated into a guest house. The building itself is honestly old. It's not a fancy building, so if you like that, go elsewhere. The plumbing and other parts of the building have been newly installed with some rough and exposed piping, but this poses no practical problems. The room is a twin room.I usually use the place on weekdays in early June, so it basically feels like I'm renting it out (lol)The room is spacious. As I mentioned earlier, the building is very old, but the inside is kept clean, so I don't think you will feel inconvenienced. This is basically a guesthouse, but you can pitch a tent or something in the space at the back (same price as staying indoors in 2024).The photo shows a screened tarp that is about 4 meters square, but I think it would be able to fit up to, for example, a Coleman family two-room tent.I can't get much horizontal width, so for example, Logos's "Dekagon" is a little difficult to adjust horizontally and vertically. If you're using a solo tent, you'll probably have enough space for about 3 tents.Although it is a peg, unlike a normal campsite, it is not well-trodden.For this reason, there is a high possibility that the plastic pegs or nail pegs that come with the tent will not be able to peg down properly.Use long pegs that are at least 30cm long.I used Snow Peak solid stakes 30cm and 20cm.It's surrounded by trees, so I don't think it'll be a problem if there is some wind blowing, but it's still important to peg down, so do it properly. Also, if you prepare your own electric drum, there is an outlet outside so you can use the power source (2024)A fire pit is always available, so you can light an open fire there.Otherwise, it would be better to prepare a fire pit. However, since it is in the forest, it is best to avoid burning bonbons in a big way. Also, since it is located in the back of Urabandai, there is a very quiet atmosphere. There are also pensions nearby, so it would be best if you could spend your time as quietly as possible.Even if you stay in a tent, toilets and showers are available inside the building.Although it is not large, there is also a refrigerator, so you can store frozen items. Also, I think two cute little guys will be welcoming us, so I think we can look forward to that as well.*It goes by quickly when it's small, so hurry up~ (lol)

Stayed here for bass fishing in late September. It was a very nice guest house!Although the facilities are a little dated, they were very clean and the toilets were separated by gender and Western-style with flushing. The owner was very kind and the location was nice and quiet.I would like to use it again when I come to Lake Hibara ☺️My stay was exceptional! This guesthouse is worth more than fee.- It's located in a quiet place.- Host is so friendly and helpful and her children are cute.- Facilities are little old but kept very cleaned.- All of toilets are western and flush style, and separated for men and women.-Two shared shower rooms are spacious and shampoo and body soap are provided.I will stay here next time for sure☺️

I stayed here as the final destination of my trip around Honshu.Good cost performance! Many guests come on weekends and holidays. This is a great place for sociable people. If you simply want to have some private time, avoid weekends and holidays. The final station in Honshu. At the end of the week, on the last day of the week, there are many guests. It's a fun social conversation, but it's a good choice. As a result, the story of the individual who enjoys the original story, and the story of the person's time, takes place at the end of the week, and on another day.The sex ratio is so high!

The location is secluded, so I think a studless 4WD is a good idea in the winter. If you're just staying the night, I think it's fine.

We rented it out for one week from the end of 2022.Since there is little information published on the internet, I will write the information as of January 3, 2023 as objectively as possible.Strong Points:·cheap. ¥2,695/person for consecutive nights.・Rooms are large for a guest house.important point:・There are a lot of stink bugs anyway. We caught over 100 fish every day. They appear not only in the living room and kitchen, but also on the bed in the room, and some people have crushed them while they sleep. If this happens, it will spread a bad odor to the surrounding area, so it is not at the level where people who are resistant to insects may be okay.・The basement has a kitchen, dining room (seats about 20 people), washing machine, dryer, drying room, toilet, 2 sinks, 4 twin rooms on the 1st floor, living room, and 4 twin rooms on the 2nd floor. The toilet is only in the basement, so people staying in rooms on the second floor have a hard time climbing up and down.- The heater in the drying room turns off after a short period of time, so it takes a long time to dry.・Most of the photos on Google Maps are from en. en2 does not have a lounge where you can see the autumn leaves.・Snow removal on the road from 37°41'04.7"N 140°04'34.3"E to the inn is slow. There are days when snowplows don't arrive until around 8 a.m., so if you want to be out early in the morning in winter, you'll need a car that can withstand heavy snow.

Very clean for a guesthouse.During the day is also a cafe, the food is great, staff is quite friendly. If you come during summer it can be quite hot at night and there is no AC.It is a perfect place for staying a few days, a good base for going hiking or just ralaxingreading books.
