My wife's cousin is a resident of the town, and we took a day trip there about 18 years ago to announce our wedding, and he was very impressed with the facilities, customer service, and hot springs.Today, I wanted to visit for the first time in a while, so I decided to take a day trip.Greeting your cousin is more like "in passing" (lol)It had a Showa feel to it, was very clean, and the staff at the front desk were very responsive and very comfortable.I would like to go there next time when it snows.

I heard that it had been renovated. In particular, although the toilets are shared, they are more than clean with washlets.I wonder if the bathroom is new.The dressing room has brand new slatted floors, and although there is only one hair dryer, it is a high-quality product with a large amount of airflow. As I've said before, you can use the bath 24 hours a day, and you can come in and out of the inn freely even at night. It seems like it's always empty, but please be aware that it was fully booked on Saturday. In the past, it was quite crowded during the autumn leaves season. Also, I think it's cheaper to make a reservation directly by phone.

Although the building has a retro feel, it is more than satisfying for the price. The hot springs are so beautiful that your skin will be extremely smooth after bathing. For dinner, the dining room is open from 6pm, so you don't have to bring anything.

This hot spring inn was closed for a while, but has reopened under new management. When we resumed operations, we basically accommodated guests without meals and had dinner as an option with a catered bento box, but from this year, we have resumed our dinner-inclusive plan, and guests are now provided with rice balls to take home for breakfast.Honestly, it feels a bit pricey for an overnight stay, but it's close to a famous filming location on the Tadami Line, so I think it'll be useful as a base when you visit for filming purposes. The hot springs are fed by a stable source, so if you're looking for a hot spring, you'll still be satisfied. The attached photo of the meal is taken from when we were serving one night and two meals a night, with the addition of a catered lunch box when we resumed dinner.
