Well, the price tooIt's more expensive than the average hotel, so what's better than other hotels? Everything. I don't think you can really get a feel for it unless you actually come and stay there.Everything was satisfactory, including the staff's response, meals, baths, garden, and well-appointed rooms. I stayed with my family of 4 and everyone was very happy.

The location was excellent, with Miroku Swamp right in front of us and the garden beautiful. The hotel was prestigious and the bath had an open feel with Mt. Urabandai in front of you, making it a wonderful hotel with a relaxing view. I stayed for 2 nights and the Western food for dinner was disappointing, but the Western and Japanese breakfast meals were delicious.

The location was good, but the French cuisine, hot springs, and amenities were average, not particularly good. The amenities and hot springs at the facility where I stayed the previous day were very good, so I felt a difference from the previous day, so I gave it 3 stars. The service from the staff was good.

I saw the information about the Minami Tada exhibition and decided to visit. I stopped by on my trip to see the exhibits rather than staying overnight. While driving while admiring the scenery of Urabandai, I came across a cute building. The exterior walls are very beautiful (wood shingle roofing), and are in harmony with the surrounding scenery, and the plants and lighting are wonderful. When I told the front desk that I had visited the exhibition, they gave me a tour of the museum, explained about Minami Tada's chandeliers, etc., and told me to take my time. The wonderful lighting, the harmonious hotel space, and the view of Urabandai made me want to stay there next time and experience its splendor.

Service was top notch - the host of the restaurant always instantly recognised us, and greeted us warmly without the need to ask for our room number. All of the staff was warm and welcoming without being too intrusive. Love the onsen which has good view and barely anyone using it. It also has towels inside (sign of a nice place! :D) and we just need to stroll by to have a lovely time. Only downside: both the restaurant and onsen was on a half floor not directly reachable by the lift (wheelchair lifts available for both locations). Our room (Luxury Twin - Mt Bandai side) was comfy and spacious. The view is spectacular, with a great view of the Mt. Bandai and the Yarokunuma.Location is perfect if you are visiting for the Goshikinuma. It is within walking distance of one of the entry points of the trail, and it's the side where the prettier ponds are located too :) Had some nice peaceful stroll around but you may want to be wary of bears and bugs! My family spotted a bear and we were bitten by so many bugs!Only thing we were not very keen on was the food. We stayed for two night so tried all the meals: both the French and the Japanese dinner, as well as both the American and Japanese breakfast. Both myself and my family think the food (and the wine pairing for the French) was just alright. If need to pick, pick the Japanese.

"Welcome back."That one word drew me in right away. The main dining room was carefully planned, and when we arrived at the dinner table, we were provided with chair service and the best seats overlooking Mt. Urabandai and the lakeside. This marks the beginning of a reunion for the first time in about 30 years.
