The first thing that impressed me was the staff's response 😭👏✨I felt so relieved when Mr. 🪲 responded to my room so well that I felt sorry for him.I was impressed by the hospitality of the staff 🥂Since it's a place surrounded by nature, I take it for granted that Mr. 🪲 is there, so it was quite fun 😉Choose kaiseki cuisine for dinner ◎The gentle taste of the soup permeated my tired body.I was very happy to be able to eat both abalone and Fukushima beef🫶🏻💗My friend seemed to have never seen Kozuyu (Aizu's local dish), which I eat every day, and it was so nice. I think I was able to get to know more about Aizu by explaining about it during the meal.Of course the hot springs were amazing and I went there three times. I was very happy that there was a water server.Since it has been certified as a welcome baby inn, I felt that it would be fun to stay with both children and babies. This is a friendly inn, with baby chairs and cribs available at the meal venue, and a baby chair, crib, and odor-free trash can for diapers in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet also has a lot of menu items that children who are transitioning to infant food can enjoy (omelets, rice with both porridge and regular rice, noodles, miso soup, yogurt, fruit, fish, natto, etc.) Next time I'll definitely bring my kids along. I'm thinking of coming.

I stayed alone for one night on October 16th. The location seemed to be in the middle of a remote mountain. The hotel had a great atmosphere from the entrance, and the first floor was quite spacious, the carpet was soft and fluffy, and the sofas and chairs had a luxurious feel. The staff were also very calm and courteous. There were also two baths that I enjoyed. As the room was a last-minute reservation, we couldn't get the room we wanted, so we ended up staying in a Japanese-style room with a futon, but it was quite spacious.Below are some unfortunate points.Since it is an old hotel, the wallpaper is peeling in some places. You cannot watch BS broadcasts on TV.There is a guest in the guest room. That's right, it's not a ghost, but an insect. When I first entered the room, there was a stink bug on the futon. By the time I returned the next day, I had met a total of three stink bugs. On the table in the guest room, there was a note from an employee that said, ``Due to the location, there may be insects in the room even if we manage it. Please let us know if this happens.'' Fortunately, stink bugs are slow, so I dealt with it myself.

This was my first time using Ashinomaki Onsen, and when I looked it up on their website, I thought it was a great place, so I made a reservation. In fact, when I arrived, it certainly looked beautiful. But when I entered the room😓Massive stink bug outbreak? ?We know that it is impossible to eliminate insect infestation, but we managed to exterminate more than 10 insects ourselves. But for some reason, they kept coming out and flying around. Is it coming in from somewhere? ? That's about it.It was a disappointing day as I couldn't rest at all.Since they are living things, I understand that it is impossible to completely prevent them, but I think it is better to take some measures. It even flies normally inside the hotel!Well, I don't think I'll go again🙏It was very disappointing.

It's a very traditional hotel. If don't want to be disturbed by any social software, this is the right place. Or you can play Seek and Find game to search wifi signal in your room. If you want to get close encounter with nature, here you will get a good opportunity as there is spider web on the light in the room. Don't forget to bring along a larger plastic bag for your towels when going to onsen.

The temperature of the shower in the public bath is unstable. The hair dryer in the public bath was mostly broken and unusable. The buffet was delicious. The public bath was water-added, heated, and circulated. The room was cold (ToT) and I didn't like the smell.

We stayed in Basha suite(Japanese suite) and we were pleasantly surprised by size of it. Well it was like having your own private villa with private gated entrance exclusive for the suite alone. It was soothing to experience Japanese style of living. We had our own private onsen too. The calming valley view is worth it.The building is pretty old so would be good to up keep also staff were courteous and very helpful but didn’t understand English that well.

I have been going to Aizu every year since 2016 to visit my ancestors' graves, and this is the accommodation I use every year. However, since I know the first time, I felt very disappointed this time and last year.As in 2016, until 2021...The landlady and employees in kimonos were always there to greet us and see us off, and they served us tea, steamed buns, and towels at the front desk.At first, in 2016, the staff even left my car there for me.Last year in 2023, steamed buns disappeared, and there were fewer employees wearing kimonos, huh? That's what I thought, but...This year they are completely gone.On the contrary, although breakfast was always a gozen meal, I was surprised to find that from this year, it had changed to a buffet in the same banquet hall as the group.Up until then, I had been enjoying a quiet and leisurely breakfast at a quiet kaiseki restaurant with a view of the mountains...Moreover, I chose the special kaiseki plan this year...My wife, who has been staying here with me since 2016, was also quite angry at how much had changed. You may think that it is good for people who don't travel often or who can only come once in a while, or something like this. However, knowing the beginning, it is a shame that various services have gradually changed...I wonder why all the responses to repeat customers have been handled together...In a sense, it may have been a good thing to have a path to something else. There will be no accommodation from next year. Thank you very much for your time.
