The hotel staff's English is not very good, but their attitude is very friendly, and the decoration is relatively retro European style. There is a dedicated bathhouse in the Nekomon Rikyu Palace. Because we stayed in the off-season and didn't have dinner at the hotel, the hot spring bath was basically private and we had a lot of fun👍. However, the female hot spring bath did not have much view, only an atrium to see.The next day we had breakfast in the main hotel with other hotel guests. There were more guests staying on the other side. It was obvious that the age group of the guests staying there was relatively high. It would be a good choice for parents to come for vacation.

I visited again in September.Although the building is said to be 30 years old, it seems like it has been well maintained. The room was quiet and I didn't have to worry about the noise from the neighbors. As everyone has written, the food and buffet is rich in variety and satisfying. The hot spring was a private bath at Nekoma Rikyu, and I was satisfied with the quality of the water.I would like to visit again.

Since it has been in business for 30 years, it looks like it was built during the bubble period, and the building materials used are luxurious. The concept is that Goshiki no Mori is for families and Rikyu is for adults, but they are connected by a corridor. This time I stayed at a villa. There are large public baths in each area, but they vary in size. The Goshiki public bath is large and lively with many children, while the large public bath in the villa is surrounded by the scent of wood and is quiet and calm with fewer people. The meal was a buffet at a joint venue of both hotels, but it was a long weekend so it was very crowded and the food was unfortunately far from gourmet. It would have been better to use the Western restaurant in the hotel or eat outside the hotel.

I stayed in a suite at Nekoma Rikyu. I am satisfied with the room. I was able to relax and not be bothered by the sounds around me.The bath seemed a little far away. I think it would be better if they built a garden, although the view was a bit dull compared to the open-air bath at the lake resort. The meal was French cuisine. It was delicious, but I felt it had a little too much flavor. The reception at check-in was good, but the response when the size of the loungewear was not available was not good. Instead of using honorific language, I said something to the customer.Discounts are also available for overnight stays and boats on Lake Hibara.Overall I was satisfied.
