There was only one other group staying there on a weekday, but the hospitality of the parents was very good. When I told him about my sprain, he prepared a compress for me at meal time, and I felt warm and attentive. Although it is not a hot spring, it was nice to have a tile bath that felt like the Showa era.The food was healthy and delicious, including wild vegetables. The miso soup with ginger was especially good. There is no refrigerator, but you can borrow the refrigerator in the dining room.

I used it when I went cycling in Urabandai for the first time (for consecutive nights). It's conveniently located right next to the Mercure Urabandai Resort Hotel, and it's just a short distance from National Route 49, which has a lot of traffic, so you can spend your time in a very quiet environment. As many people imagine, the name Kokuminshukusha may make young people feel a bit old-fashioned, and the old-fashioned facilities may make them feel inconvenienced, but this is a very impressive accommodation. The inn is run by a nice elderly couple and their employees, so it's a warm atmosphere that will surely help you heal from the fatigue of your long journey. The environment of the inn is very quiet, but the building makes it easy to hear and hear noises, so if you are concerned about it, you will need to bring earplugs.[Interesting information about the building]⚫︎It's a Japanese-style room with a carpet, and if you don't handle each door gently when opening and closing, it will make a lot of noise, and it's easy for various noises to be transmitted.⚫︎If you leave the doors and windows open, small insects can easily sneak in.⚫︎Toilets, sinks, and baths are shared. There are toilets and sinks on each floor for men and women, so depending on the time of day, if you use the ones on the first floor, it may be difficult to hear the noise from the guest rooms on the second floor. The bathhouse only has three taps to wash your body (of which only one has a shower nozzle), so you'll have to negotiate with other customers, and you'll definitely have some casual interactions with mountain climbers and cyclists. ShoThere is a washing machine that can be used for free only on the men's bath side (you can also freely use the provided laundry detergent)⚫︎Yukata, toothbrush set, and washcloth are provided, but there are no other amenities or bath towels.⚫︎There are only two outlets in the room next to the TV stand, so please bring as many outlets as you need to charge your electronic devices.⚫︎For cyclistsBicycles can be stored in the garage next door, so you can keep them out of the rain and dust (the garage is shared, so the garage is not locked).

I was lucky that the dinner I ordered on short notice happened to have been prepared by mistake.I checked in late, so the fish was cold, but even though it was cold, it was still delicious and I ate it all.Breakfast was a bit disappointing as the main course was like fried eggs, but the rice was so sweet and glossy that it was a delicious substitute. The bath was not a hot spring, but it was a large bath so it was comfortable to stretch out your legs. The room looks old, but it's clean and there's no problem sleeping in it.It seems to be run by a father, mother, and son, and I'm looking forward to working with them again in the summer at Kokumin Shukusha, which has a surprisingly large number of regular customers.

The room had tatami mats and felt like an old-fashioned dormitory. They were an elderly couple and seemed to be occupied, but the service was very good and hospitable.I felt at ease, as if I had returned home.・Dinner will be served with delicious food that is almost like that of an inn.・Breakfast is prepared early in the morning and is delicious Japanese food.・We went to a nearby hot spring and when we came back, there were two neatly prepared slippers for us at the entrance, which made us feel warm.・My grandfather was a gentleman. It felt a little small for the two of us, but since we went in February and it was snowing and extremely cold outside, we felt that a room of this size was just right.I also wanted to go there to feel the warmth here.

Stayed for one night after climbing Mt. Bandai. The rice was just delicious. The atmosphere was homely and comfortable. Early the next morning, I took a walk around Goshikinuma, which left an impression on me that I will never forget.

Although it is an old building and has a simple structure, it is kept very well and has an impeccable cleanliness. Although the meals did not have luxurious ingredients, they were elaborately prepared and delicious. Next year will mark the 50th anniversary of its opening. Supported by customers for half a century. It's admirable.
