We had a bit of a mix up at another hotel and had to book this one super last minute, and arrived within the hour- but the hosts (a family I believe) were so gracious and lovely. Which was very much appreciated as I probably looked terrible and had just been crying. The hosts provided us with slippers and helped us with the luggage up the elevator to our room, it was lovely and everything we needed.I'm not sure why all the low ratings as the furnishings might be dated, but the place was very clean! New bedding and towels daily, and I ended up liking the atmosphere much better than a hotel as it was much more relaxed. There is a laundry and bookcase of Manga and an English book about Hiroshima (much appreciated!)The hosts greeted us when we left and arrived back, we were staying over the long weekend, and it was so nice and relaxing and just what I needed. The place is actually very close to the station, we walked there most days, on the last day of checking out I was looking for one of the hosts to say goodbye and thank you but for once no one was around! The father soon drove up in the car and offered us a ride to the station with our luggage! seriously lovely people and I cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed our stay and would stay again.Thank you, thank you, thank you!! From your New Zealand friends 🧡

The worst comfortability I've ever used.It was just as the reviews said. I think it was cleaned, but there were so many stains on the sofa that I didn't feel like sitting on it. The room was old and in the worst condition of any hotel I've ever stayed in. I think it's for people who don't care about quality. The owner's response was friendly, so it's good for people who like to talk, but I think it's a bit strange for people who don't like to talk about personal matters at hotels. Also, I thought the bedroom would be reasonably comfortable for the price (6,000 yen) even though no meals were provided, but as the reviews said, the pillows were hard and on top of that, the bed was so hard that it felt like sleeping on the floor. Well, even after a few hours, I was still in pain and couldn't sleep.I was worried that I would have trouble the next day, so I stayed for a few hours and then moved to another hotel to sleep. In other words, I threw away 6000 yen.The hotel was a place to sleep, and I was looking for comfort more than the owner's service, so it wasn't a good fit.I guess it depends on the person, but it didn't suit me at all.

These are my impressions after staying for less than two weeks. In addition to the standard amenities of a business hotel, the guest room felt spacious as it had a sofa. There are convenience stores, supermarkets, and drug stores within walking distance, so you won't have any problems during your stay. When I met him, he spoke to me and always made sure I didn't need anything, and I was very happy with his kind consideration. The coin laundry was equipped with detergent, which I thought clearly expressed the casual kindness of Aoi Business Hotel.I felt very comfortable during my stay. I am filled with gratitude.

A business hotel from the Showa era.The price of 6,000 yen for a night without meals seems high. It's a little over 15 minutes walk to the station, and 10 minutes to the convenience store, so it's really far away. There are no alcohol vending machines in the building.

Thank you for your help many times at work.It can't be helped that it's old, but I was a little selfish, but they listened to me.

I went there for work, and I had no choice but to stay overnight at a hotel without meals, but the hotel staff was very nice to me 🙂

I stayed here on a Saturday during spring break.I suddenly had to meet up with a friend again in Fukuyama, and I was in trouble because other accommodations were full, but I was glad that this one was empty. As mentioned in the reviews, the facilities and equipment are old, but the care and CP from the manager and staff were more than enough to make up for it.Thanks to you, I had a fun night in Fukuyama with my classmates of 40 years.
