Not free as other said. It’s basically free at like 500yen. Primitive toilets but running water and lights.Great campground, very scenic. Stayed here while cycle touring through the areas

Right next to two vine bridges, free campsite, no reservation needed, there's a toilet but no shower (we went to the river to wash ourselves, the water was freezing cold though 🥶).We have come from Tsurugi mt. 12 km in 6-7 hours with backpacks around 15 kg. The last descent and the first ascent were the hardest. Very nice hiking trail, dangerous sometimes. Also you can stop by around 1 km away from this camping ground on the way to Tsurugi, there's enough space and a lot of tents also. But this 1 km would be very hard with backpacks.Camping near Tsurugi mt is limited in space, coming there late might leave you only very uncomfortable places to place a tent.

Used for camping last summer.important pointIt's quite far from the parking lot to the campsite, and you have to cross a steep hill and a Kazurabashi bridge, so be careful with heavy luggage! Also, there is no supermarket nearby, so you will need to bring everything with you.The closest bath is at La Foret Tsurugiyama, about 20 minutes by car. There are flush toilets near the parking lot. There is a biomass toilet right next to the campsite. Although it is not washable, it has no odor and is very clean.I was able to relax and enjoy the sound of the river for 2 nights and 3 days.

Iya, one of Japan's three most unexplored regions, is located in the Shikoku Mountains and has an overwhelming sense of untouched nature. There are two bridges, the Otoko Bridge and the Onna Bridge, and the beautiful Iya Gorge flowing below. I think it's perfect for those who want to enjoy it quietly. Access is also not very good, and depending on the route you choose, it can be a pain if you have a big car. Purchasing is not possible near the campsite. Preparation is important. It seems they don't take reservations. It's spacious, so I guess that means I don't have to worry about it. There is a kitchen and toilet, and the facilities are sufficient. The toilets are also clean, with a type of toilet called a bio-toilet that I haven't seen anywhere else. You can park your car in front of the administration building and carry your luggage by hand. It is difficult to cross Kazurabashi Bridge with luggage, so wild monkeys come in handy to carry luggage. People can also ride on it, so they can experience the thrill.

6/17 I spent one night at a solo camp on Saturday! It was a great campsite even without a reservation! There are two Kazurabashi bridges, and the atmosphere and scenery were both amazing! The bridges are named Otokobashi and Onnabashi, and you can reach the campsite by crossing either one. There are other crystal clear rivers nearby, and I think it's a place where you can spend time even in the hot summer with low temperatures. I would love to go to summer camp! The campsite was well maintained and it was easy to set up a tent. There is a toilet right next to the camp, but as other reviews have mentioned, it was a bio-toilet. I was hesitant to use the toilet because I had never heard of it before, but it turned out to be one of the cleanest campsite toilets I've ever used! The interior is beautiful, but I was surprised that there was no smell at all! There is a set meal shop in front of the toll booth at the campsite, so there is no problem even if you are a camper who doesn't prepare meals!I don't have many regrets, but the only thing I have to say is that the wild monkeys were out of order, so the road to the campsite was a little long.I had the best Saturday and Sunday! This campsite is recommended for those who are interested in Kazurabashi!

2023/4/14We stayed for 2 nights at Pair Camp.Although it was Friday and Saturday, we were the only people camping. Maybe it was because it was raining. There were a few tourists here and there. It's a calm place and the river is beautiful. The Kazurabashi Bridge that can be seen from the campsite has a charming atmosphere. As mentioned in other people's reviews, you will have to walk down a promenade quite a bit from the parking lot to the campsite. Since you cannot use a cart and will have to cross a suspension bridge, it is recommended that you equip yourself with a light. It was quite difficult for two people to carry a large 55L cooler. The wild monkey was unavailable due to adjustments. The monorail for transportation is also probably not available. The monorail arrival point was cordoned off with a rope. I wonder if I can use it when the wild monkey reopens? The toilet does not flush, but it is a bio-toilet that uses sawdust, so it doesn't smell as bad as a pump-type toilet. If you go up to the parking lot, there is a flush toilet next to the office. There is a kitchen building and an arbor. Both lights are on. The water in the kitchen was brown and cloudy, probably because it had been raining. I think it would be better to have water or a filter. The person at the office told me that I could use the twigs that were gathered together to start the fire, so it seems like it's OK to start a bonfire. We used a bonfire stand, but I'm not sure if it's okay to have an open fire (although there were signs of an open fire...)Both Docomo and Softbank are within 4G range. There were 2 or 3 antennas up. I can watch medium-quality videos.A night light is on at night. If you're nearby, there's enough light that you don't need a lantern. It was convenient when going to the toilet at night.I will come again when Yazaru reopens and the monorail becomes available.

It's a little far from the parking lot. Since I had to carry my luggage by hand, I decided to go for a simple camp.I didn't carry any warm goods as it would be a hassle, so it felt a bit cold in the morning at -4℃😅I'm a little hesitant about bio toilets.
