An old inn run by a grandmother.It was 3,500 yen for a room without meals, and even though I had to pay that much myself, they gave me 400 yen from the hot springs across the street.I had to catch a train in a hurry in the morning, so I left without eating, but I thought I'd take it easy if I had to stop by next time.

The hospitality of a 90 year old grandmother is amazing. Although the facilities are undeniably old, you can enjoy the nostalgic feeling of traveling back in time to the Showa era.

When I went cycling from Tokyo, the ferry to Tokushima was delayed by 2 hours and I couldn't arrive on the same day, so I called to cancel, but I received a warm response, saying, ``Please give me another chance.'' I did.I'm really sorry for canceling on the day. I will definitely come cycling again and stay here again.

Could you please charge Tetsuro Degawa? This is the inn that came out. ^_^The landlady was really kind. The price is also reasonable, 3,780 yen for a room without meals. I think this is an inn where you can feel the warmth of home.㊙️We recommend sightseeing in Higashi Iya!! ️^_^🙂①Old house cafe KimuraI highly recommend it to those who have finished raising their children and want to enjoy their lives from now on, or those who have retired from work and are thinking about going on a trip as a couple for the first time in a while. Why not start your second life here at Kimura, an old folk house cafe? ^_^🙂② Ochiai VillageThere are about eight thatched-roof traditional Japanese-style inns, including the mountain village of Togenkyo Iya, supervised by Mr. Alex Kerr, who is famous for producing traditional Japanese traditional Japanese-style houses. By the way, there is Chiiori right next to Kimura, an old folk house cafe in ①. I think it's irresistible for people who love old folk houses. ^_^🙂③Scarecrow VillageThe village population is less than 30 people. Over 250 scarecrows! Take a leisurely stroll around the village and take photos with the various scarecrows! ^_^🙂④Oku-Iya Double Kazura BridgeThere are two Kazurabashi bridges and wild monkeys. It's always empty, so you can cross and ride as much as you want! The clarity of the river flowing from Mt. Tsurugi will amaze you!🙂⑤TsurugiyamaTokushima Prefecture's highest peak, 1,995m high. Good drive and touring! You can also aim for the top by taking the lift from Nishijima Station!🙂⑥Cheap old folk house innI recommend Minshuku Iya Hakkei. 300 years old! It's right near the Ochiai Village Observatory.If you are interested, please search on Google Maps. It would be a shame to end up just sightseeing at Oboke and Kazurabashi❗️^_^

It was 3,500 yen for a room without meals, and it was both clean and tasteful, which was great.My train was delayed due to Awa Odori, and they were able to wait for me even though I arrived after 1 o'clock on the last train.I will definitely come again!
