A really pleasant surprise. Exceptional shower after over a week on the Shikoku Henro. Clean shower rooms, one each for men and women, heated shower room and high pressure hot water. …

Thank you for your help in the fall of 2023.There are also signs in the hallway showing consideration for pilgrims. The husband is a cool old man who used to live in Osaka. He also talked to me during meals, which was really fun.

Amazing place to stay at - I had an amazing time with the service of Ten-san, the owner of this place. Whilst this place seems to be mainly for surfers, it is also suitable for bike-tourists. The only downside is the lack of restaurants nearby, and the nearest place with something to eat is the 7-11 before the tunnel where Ten drove us to.

If you're surfing in the area it's a good place to stay. It's ¥3800 per night (no meals) for a large, basic Japanese-style room with a shared bath (there aren't too many rooms in the minshuku so I never had to wait) and free parking. You can walk straight to Ikumi beach in less than 5 minutes or easily drive to other breaks in the area. You can also rent old, beaten up longboards for ¥1000. The owner (Ten) is chill and nice and can also speak English.
