The public bath is open until 9:00 p.m. There is no morning duty, and there is a night shift instead.Although there is no sutra reading, you can experience the Tokushima custom of using camphor tree.

I used it on July 11, 2024 for my walking pilgrimage. It was a private room like a business hotel, but the toilet was shared and the bath was in the public bath.There were 3 people staying that day, including me (the other 2 were Taiwanese), so I don't think it could be helped, but we only stayed overnight without meals, and only the small bathtub was used in the large public bath.Also, during the night shift from 5:30 pm, the spirits were washed away, and I was able to see the Buddhist statues and mandala paintings in the back up close, which was a great experience that can only be experienced at a lodging.

Accommodation through Jalan. Unlike staying in a regular lodging, the meals were luxurious (?). Dinner included grilled eel.Spend time in a room called ``Dainichi.'' Anrakuji Shukubo has a hot spring.Also, I had to work at night, and there were some things that only guests could do. My partner is participating.

The room I stayed in was only 6 tatami mats, and the toilet and sink were in the hallway, reminiscent of a dormitory or training camp. It's clean and not bad at all. The toilets and large bath are also clean.The room itself is quiet, but sometimes you can hear the sound of cars passing by.From 6pm, all guests will have dinner together. I'm sharing a seat with someone else.From 7:00 pm, there will be work for voluntary participation. The content is unique.Bathing is available until 10pm. By the way, I didn't have a bath towel, so I used the one I brought.It is surprising that breakfast and dinner are included for such a low price. I'm satisfied.

Regardless of whether you travel a lot or not, you can book accommodation and experience the beautiful places of Shukubo. It's very quiet, the room is heated, and the dining area is also heated. I like the clean and tidy room. It's also very new. It has an elevator and a hot spring. It's hard to find a place to stay in the peak season.Regardless of religion, experience Japanese Buddhism through accommodation, 88 Spiritual Site.
