I used it on my first solo trip. I was a little nervous, but when I entered the entrance, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. The room was new and clean with the smell of tatami mats, and outside the window was the garden and river. I took a bath before dinner, and the bath was nice. Dinner was at a separate restaurant, and I had a private room at the end, so it was comfortable. As a perk of traveling alone, I got a one-drink service, which really got me excited! I had the Sokihana cold sake👍The additional Bukou cold sake I ordered was also very good! Everything from the appetizers to the food was delicious. Anyway, I'm satisfied. I think I'll be addicted to traveling alone.

I don't usually write negative things, but this time. . .Honestly, I was very disappointed. I was thinking of making a reasonable amount of money for a one-night stay for three people, including a 3-year-old child, for a total of 46,000 yen including breakfast and dinner in August 2024, but the food was disappointing. My wife and I were all looking forward to the Katsumei meal at the inn.It was good from what I saw on the menu, but when the food finally arrived, we both looked at each other and said, ``What?''Furthermore, I really didn't know what the main dish was that the inn wanted to promote.I was left with a strong feeling that I had paid so much to stay there, and this made me worry about choosing a place to stay.I thought it would have been better to spend a little more money, but I wouldn't stay there again if the food was that good for this price.I feel sorry for making such a comment publicly, but once again, what is the main point when it comes to food? I would like you to consider whether the volume is sufficient.

I was disappointed in the dinner on the second day...the sashimi was exactly the same as the first day (only 4 pieces in total), the salt-grilled fish was cold as if it had been grilled a long time ago, and the meat dish was only a 3cm square piece of fatty braised meat. ! The menu said it was clam soup, but what was actually included was the same fish ball as on the first day, one sweet shrimp, and a shito pepper that was the size of a quarter of the deep-fried lotus root slices... something... I laughed and thought it was a mistake. The children's set had more meat in it. Even though I paid 100,000 yen for 2 nights, there were 4 slices of sashimi, 1 piece of fatty pork, and 1 sweet shrimp...If you look at the photos posted on the website, you will find that there is more sashimi and meat. It looks like. I felt quite cheated. Even considering the wild boar meat on the first day, this is the first time I've had a meal at a ryokan that was so disappointing. At dinner on the first day, dessert was served instead of rice and miso soup, a 150cm yukata was prepared for my 4-year-old child, and sashimi was served even though I told them I was pregnant...disappointing. is.

I went to Nagatoro to try Nagashi Somen. I heard that there was a huge line every day, so I braced myself and arrived a little after 8 o'clock. 1 group of customers. When we lined up, another group followed, and by the time it was time to issue tickets, the line was long.I was told to issue my ticket at 9:30, go sightseeing around the cobblestone streets, and come back at 10:00, so I was guided around more and more when I returned before 10:00. We were also guided around and told to call us when we were ready, so we ordered ramune and toasted before we started. It doesn't come all the time, but flows slowly.I felt like it was a bit bad because it was played by a person instead of a machine (lol)I thought I would be able to eat a lot, but I couldn't eat that much. There were a lot of condiments, so I kept trying different flavors as I ate them. Even if I took a break in the middle, I couldn't eat anymore, so I ended it. When finished, the tomatoes will be washed away.

If you're in Nagatoro, go here. You can enjoy so many different things and it becomes your base. All the staff are kind too. The food and local sake were both very delicious. Even if you have to wait for more than 6 hours for Nagashi Somen, you will be thankful that there is no waiting time for the Nagashi Somen course for overnight guests.

Used for day trip Nagashi Somen. We lined up around 8:30 and received our tickets, and were informed that it would be after 11:00.The person in charge of serving the somen noodles also handles accounting, so there are times when the somen noodles don't arrive easily, but when they do come, a huge amount of somen noodles arrive. You can also take a break along the way.It will be more fun if you come with your children.
