This is a small campsite along the Otanba River. There were two groups staying in bungalows, but they were given space to stay apart. It was a solo camp where I enjoyed the privacy of the sound of the flowing river without worrying about it at all.I rented the most upstream site, but is it possible to set up a large 2-room tent? I think so.It's a good campsite if you can accept the hassle of carrying your luggage from the river, no hot water, taking your trash home (apparently they will throw away your backpack, so check), and a few street lights on the road a little further away.Recommended for playing in the river with kids in summerThere are places in Tokyo that are so rich in nature...Next time, I would like to use the most downstream site/the scenery was nice.It is a campsite that I would like to repeat.*If you are camping at a riverside campsite, don't forget to take insect repellent measures.*Room stars are based on site ratings

I came here because it looked good after reading other people's posts, but for some reason the receptionist talked to me in a negative way. Is it handled differently depending on the customer?Or is it a seasonal thing? There were so many wasps flying around that I couldn't even eat because it was dangerous.Photos were taken without my permission and posted on social media without my permission. Isn't that a violation of privacy? It's a shame that the camping experience I was looking forward to was ruined because of this. Please be careful when visiting.

If you're coming from central Tokyo, it's just a short distance from the entrance to Okutama, right in front of the bus stop. There are also clean toilets. There are tent sites along the river, so you can enjoy it whether you're staying overnight or on a day camping trip. It's a nice size river with clean water, especially for people with small children. This is a cozy campsite with many repeat visitors. If you don't have a tent, there are mountain lodges available. If you like a quiet environment, it might be a good idea to check if there are any groups when making a reservation.

This campsite is located in the mountains of Otamba in the eastern part of Okutama, surrounded by nature. When you arrive, you will be greeted by the friendly and smiling owner😊.There is a small river in front of the campsite, where you can enjoy bathing in the water in the summer. There are accommodation options ranging from tents to bungalows and vacation rentals, and they also rent out tools. The price is also reasonable. There is also a bus stop right in front of you (Cheongdongbashi bus stop).Highly recommended for those who want to get away from the city and enjoy nature to the fullest, and for those with children! ️
