In an improbable location, this beautiful home next to an enchanting temple was a lively stop off for our family. The host (himself a monk) was friendly and helpful. The accommodation is in a beautifully renovated family home with no attention spared (fresh coffee for grinding, pillow fragrances). We recommend the morning chanting sutra and a fantastic BBQ the night before.Definitely worth a stay if you are in the area.

I used it during Golden Week. There was also a shopping center about 10 minutes away by car. Apparently there is also a hot spring nearby. It was a comfortable stay where I was able to spend time with my dog and have many experiences.

It was my first time visiting, but it was a good experience. Our family of four rented a house and had a relaxing time, and it was an opportunity for our children to experience the temple. I was impressed by how carefully each item in the room was chosen. Personally, I love the tea incense burner at the entrance. There were pizza pots, BBQ, bonfire sets, and more, and the food was very delicious. After spending the first day full of earthly desires, I went out to do morning chores with my eldest daughter on the second morning and felt refreshed. The temple is an important cultural property and is managed by a temple that has preserved its history, so it is definitely worth visiting in the spring, summer, fall, and winter. There is no bath, only a shower, so if you have a family that needs to wash their hair, it would be a good idea to inquire in advance. In our house, the door was open, the children took a shower, and the parents washed their hair and took a shower from outside.

Japanese accommodation at its best. Immediate and helpful replies to messages. A very stylish and typical Japanese place next to a temple. Plenty of room, clean, well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. If you're looking for a place for an extended time for some peace and quiet or just a short stay, both works. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It was my first time staying at a temple, and I thoroughly enjoyed it while feeling something out of the ordinary. It was a 1 night and 2 day stay that purified my soul and was very satisfying. The pizza baked in the pizza oven was absolutely delicious! This is also something that I don't often get to experience, so it was a lot of fun. At night, the temple and New Year's Eve bell are lit up, making it look very magical. The area around the building was very quiet and there was always a relaxed atmosphere.Personally, I find the aroma mist I put on my pillow to be soothing when I sleep. I definitely want to go again.

Although it was my first time staying in a lodging, I was able to relax and refresh my body and mind in a quaint atmosphere. There is a Costco and a supermarket nearby, so it was nice to be able to procure ingredients locally. Cooking on the BBQ and in the pizza oven was fresh and a lot of fun, and it was extremely delicious! It was my first time to experience zazen meditation in the main hall, so I was a little nervous, but the instructor gave me a thorough explanation. A time when I don't think about anything...I was moved by the calming feeling that I don't often get in everyday life. It was a fantastic space lit up at night. The room was very clean and I was able to spend a wonderful time while being soothed by the soothing smell of the tatami mats. I look forward to visiting you again in a different season!thank you very much!
