This would be an other traditional full service hotel Japan build their hospitality industry on. Great, fully packed dining for breakfast and dinner. Variety is all there and freshness is good.It is 30min drive a way from Aizu-Wakamatsu... but that can't be helped.

I stayed in a twin room in the annex "Kawato". It was very good. |If you want to enjoy the majestic scenery, I think this Kawanoto is a good choice. …

I stayed in the largest room in the annex. |The entrance to the room was wide and there were 3 rooms. There was incense at the entrance and it smelled nice. The toilet and bathroom were a little far away. …

It was a very nice place. The food was seasonal and very delicious. We had breakfast while enjoying the view. The large public bath was nice, but the hot spring in the room was sufficient. I was able to relax and feel like I was back at home. There were free drinks and drip coffee in the fridge, so I didn't have to buy anything at the convenience store. It was a nice service.

Keikokubinado sits high above a bend of the Aga River in it's beautiful forested valley.||Friendly staff offer the yukata/tatami/onsen experience in traditional rooms in a somewhat confusing complex layout of two separate buildings. …

``The annex has a riverside view'' ``The food is an elegant Fukushima specialty'' ``A large Showa-era inn'' ``New open-air bath for women'' ``The large public bath is old''The facilities are that of a large Showa-era inn. You can enjoy a spectacular view of the Aga River from the rooms in the annex Kawanoto. The meal covers all of Fukushima's specialties and is more filling than it looks. The Rokuyama Kogen pork and Date chicken were especially delicious. Of course, there is also Fukushima Kozuyu. The spacious public bath is old. It's a little far from the Aga River, so the scenery was pretty good. The selling point seems to be the newly built open-air bath exclusively for women. The lobby has been renovated and is very clean, and there is also a free drink corner. On the other hand, the regular rooms are clean, but they are from the Showa era. There seemed to be a small number of staff. I rarely saw them except when I was eating. I couldn't help but feel that Ashinomaki, a hot spring town that had already fallen into disrepair, was on its last legs.#letsguide

Great location.Of course, the room we entered was nice, but the haze after the rain was so magical that it felt like a paradise. The bath is disappointing. It's too hot. The open-air bath is lukewarm. That's different from the photo.
