We booked here in Marriott hotel because the name is usually a guarantee of quality. I was wrong. Zero english, zero suggestions about the recommended activities around here. I read there is an amazing onsen I can access with tattoo if I put steakers on but on arrival when I asked, the guy said I can only use 4 of their stickers not mine, and they are very small and I have to buy them from the hotel (250 each). Following morning at 6am a loud alarm starts in the room with a Japanese voice speaking and considering we are in Japan, on the sea, I call the reception to ask if we have to evacuate or something else..no english! So I dressed up to go downstairs and they said that it was just the power outage restored. They are insane.

Fairfield's only building with a hot spring facility inside the building is located next to the roadside station, just down the road next to the roadside station. Please be careful as it is difficult to see especially at night. There is also a parking lot like a terraced field. The entrance to the parking lot on the same level as the first floor is small. The room is in Fairfield, and it's the same no matter where you go. Perhaps because it is close to the sea, the employee explained the evacuation in detail. I was impressed by the customer service, detailed explanations, and employee training that was a bit different from others.Hot springs are recommended. The open-air bath has a nice view, and the barrel-style bath for one person will make you want to take a long bath at a low temperature. It's a little slimy, but it's not salty, and it's a smooth, transparent hot spring.Although it seems that they are boiling water due to the low temperature, I think it is said to be the No. 1 day-trip hot spring in the prefecture.Since you cannot take photos of the hot spring facilities, we highly recommend that you experience the scenery in the morning and evening.I highly praise the hot spring facilities and baths, which are not found in other Fairfield locations.

It's easy to get used to Fairfield because it's all similar, but this place has hot springs and the scenery and quality of the hot springs were great. It was a weekday evening, but I was able to relax as the place was reserved. The room was on the sea side, but the sea was right in front of me, and the view was amazing, and the sea was very clear and beautiful. Also, the lounge is right in front of the sea, so you can enjoy it while drinking the coffee provided.

This hotel was booked at the last moment only because we realized we needed a place to stay for a night while we drove the long way from Osaka to Hotel Urashima, where we had an onsen vacation planned for the next few days.Much to our delight, we found this hotel to be a great place to spend a night at. Its isolation provided a sense of detachment from the busy city life we had just had in Osaka for over a week. The onsen was a surreal experience, where we enjoyed hot bath while listening to waves crashing onto rock shore just behind the hotel, and nightly Pacific breeze gently blowing. Part of the reason behind our wonderful experience with the onsen: it was only us there in the hot bath that night; we ventured to guess that, including us,there were only a handful of guests staying at the hotel that night. The room featured a comfortable large bed and a tatami by the window to lie/sit on while sipping tea. The restroom is spacious, unlike elsewhere in Japan. Although the hotel is right by the sea, the room was dry and still smelled lovely. Unfortunately, our room was on the opposite side of the Pacific Ocean; otherwise, the view would be stunning at night, I suppose. You wouldn’t find a lot of choices to eat in or near the hotel, especially around the time of our arrival. So we went to a Lawson convenience store about 1km to the north. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. We used Google Translate to communicate and managed to get everything sorted out.We highly recommend this hotel. May go back there sometime in the future.

The hotel should be the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in.I should have read a VLOG article one year ago, which highly praised this hotel. At that moment, this hotel deeply attracted me. I am very glad that I can arrange the trip in August this year and plan to stay in the hotel for 2 days. But unfortunately, Japan's Typhoon No.10 may pass through the hotel area. The front desk staffs of the hotel communicated with me total 7 emails and provided me with very detailed website information, which allowed me to understand the public transportation conditions to the hotel. My first impression is that they are very serious and responsible, putting the safety of guests first, and let us pay attention to the development of the Typhoon at any time so that we can cancel the hotel reservation in advance. The front desk staffs are: Yumiko Inagaki, Yuya Ietaka and Tomoharu Ozaki. The hotel is located on the seaside, with a shocking and amazing ocean view through the window, which cannot be described in words. The room is clean and tidy. The most worth mentioning is that the hotel has a ocean view hot spring. This is also the first time in my life that I have experienced a hotel facing the sea and relaxing in the hot spring. This is definitely an experience that everyone need in life. Finally, it is worth mentioning again that every staf of the hotel has a very professional service spirit, enthusiasm, and courtesy, making us feel like we are back home. It makes me even more proud to be a Marriott member. So, whether it is the hotel's landscape, unique hot springs, or every one of their hotel staff, it is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in.

It was my first time in Fairfield. Although it was much cheaper than the JW Marriott, it was clean, quiet, calm, and had good service, which made me feel that the Marriott family is good. I got this rating based on the cost performance. The hot spring open-air bath is open from 6 a.m., and you can enjoy a quiet bath at dawn while listening to the sound of the waves. Bath towels are lent to guests at the hot spring reception, and they were crisp, typical of a hotel, but light and easy to use. The interior of the rest area is stylish and relaxing, making it a world away from your average day-trip hot spring.Since it was a weekday, I waited for the shop to open at 9am and bought some homemade bread at the roadside station. I took it back to the hotel and had a relaxing breakfast in the clean lobby overlooking the ocean.Local beer, local produce, dry goods, cup ramen, etc. can be purchased at the front desk, but the lobby has been set up so that you can bring your own for your convenience.* Directions for day use have been moved to the "Bokai no Yu" review.
