◆◆You can stay in a wonderful work built by architect Mitsuo Taki in 1990◆◆I used it the night before going to Hirakata Park for my daughter's birthday. There are not many accommodations around Hirapa. This is I-Island.This is a labor union training and recreation center run by Sharp, a major consumer electronics company, and resort accommodation is available to the general public at very reasonable prices. The name ``I Island'' comes from ``I'' for me and ``I'' for Ikoma (technically speaking, it's Shijo-Nawate City). No, but the scale of this place is too big to just spend the night before! This was the work of architect Mitsuo Taki, who aimed to create a "dialogue between greenery and architecture."Located in the prefecture's forest, it is a relaxed and spacious building that was probably designed during the bubble period. It's a beautiful RC building that you can't believe was built over 30 years ago, and you can feel the attention to detail in every detail. The large courtyard shaped like a water basin and the open lobby space are hard to find at other facilities, even if they cost more than double the price. This time we stayed in a cottage, which had two floors and nearly three times more space than in the city center, so we could comfortably accommodate a family of five. The service staff at the front desk and restaurant were very attentive and made me feel very welcome.Overall, although the building is aging, it has been maintained very well, and in a good sense, it is a wonderful facility that gives you a sense of the latent power of Japan in its vibrant past.

Ikomayama Forest Restaurant. It's clean, has a nice atmosphere, and is delicious. It's a great value and I recommend it. But there seems to be little awareness. I really like it and my family often comes here for meals and tea.

It was an inn located in the forest of a park. The rooms are spacious and clean. You can also observe small birds from your room window, which I think is irresistible for wild bird lovers.

Used for lunch. It was a wonderful place with accommodation, conference and multipurpose venues, and a restaurant in a quiet setting surrounded by trees. Since the Akita Beef Fair was in progress, I ordered a yakiniku lunch for 3,360 yen. It was very soft and tasted good. The photo is of a half-eaten meal, but I'll post it here for reference. There will also be coffee. For more information, please visit our website. The environment and atmosphere are good, and it's a great place if you have time to take a walk after your meal.
