It was memorable spending our vacation in Osaka. The space was clean and tastefully decorated as traditional Japanese house. Amenities were provided, ensuring that we had almost everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is strategic for DIY travel and it is near at KIX by train. Mr and Mrs Hemmendinger are such wonderful hosts! My daughter and I thank them from the bottom of our heart.

Great start to our lovely experience in Japan. Such a beautiful find in a secluded place of Tsuruhara, the neighborhood is quiet and welcoming with Metro access in 10 mins from the guest house.Eric and Matte have made sure you have all the amenities like toiletries present, so you won't be needing to carry anything extra.Just a heads up if you're tall, the bathrooms could be an issue as they could be quite compact especially the toilets. Rest the Tatami mats have mattresses and are provided with light duvets which are easy in the summers. Rooms are large enough for two!PS. They also have cycles that you can borrow to roam around.Will be coming back again in the future. Thanks again!

Great place to stay! Quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, Owners are very hospitable. They let us borrow their bikes and almost every eqiupment in the household. They even help us be familiar with Japan's railway system on our everyday trip. Accessible location, near train station and Kansai Airport. You can also find 24hr shops and restaurants nearby. Will definitely go back here!!!Thank you so much Bighem Maison!!!

If you like to experience traditional japanese lodging in a very quiet community, best choice is Bighem Maison!My favorite:👍 3 stations away from Kansai Airport👍 Near Rinku Premium Outlet👍 5-min walk from train station - no stairs!!👍 Owner is very accommodating to queries. She gives tips on transpo and itinerary.

One of our favorite times in Japan was when we were at Bighem Maison. We enjoyed the quiet and very serene neighborhood. We also get to visit a shrine within walking distance with a big cherry blossom tree. Thank you also for letting us borrow your bike. We loved biking around the area. We also passed by a local cafe with really good coffee and cakes. They also assisted us in transporting our big luggage to our next hotel in Tokyo. Indeed, we had a very memorable stay with them. We would love to come back and stay longer on our next visit.

Great stay! Close to Kansai airport, traditional room, what else do you need. They lent me a bike for afternoon for free. Run by awesome couple :) sorry I did not say goodbye but I had to catch a flight

This place is amazing.First off, let me start on how amazing of a host is Ms. Matte. Ask her something and she will send you everything. Very helpful, detailed and attentive when it comes to our needs and info too as it was our first time in Japan. With lots of recos for restaus, shops and even hacks for travelling, dining, shopping and more!The rooms were very tidy and organized. No false advertising. Beautifully curated traditional Japanese home that feels just like home. Very safe and secure area. Very near to Kansai airport too. It is somehow a travel to destinations in Osaka but we didn't mind because We all know how efficient commuting in Japan is.Bighem is near to Cafes, restaurants, shops, and even salons too! Friendly neighborhood and what we love about it is that it is very serene too.The only downside is that the toilet bidet can dispense icy cold water during winter - but aside from that, I'd consider this stay a perfect pick. Will highly recommend to anyone and everyone travelling to Kansai / Osaka.

Ms. Matte is a superhost, very accommodating, and helpful, especially in guiding us on which trains to ride according to our itinerary. She also suggested places to visit and where to buy souvenirs. I highly recommend Bighem Maison! Host was very nice and accomodating, she even helped us finalize our itinerary even to plot our travel (also gave us a lot of tips when shopping ❤️). Place is very clean and everything a traveller might need - weighing scale, iron, packing tapes, etc. Definitely a place to stay when in osaka. ❤️

Had a lovely stay at Bighem Maison, we always look foward to going home to this traditional Japanese accommodation after going around Kansai, close to train station and the rooms are cleaned everyday. There are great restaurants nearby and the hosts were very accommodating. We stayed here for 5 days, on last day we decided not to go around and just sleep longer, wake up recharged and go around using their bikes. We can't wait to go back and will definitely recommend to friends! ❤️😊

There is no elevator in the whole building, and the exit door looks like a room door. I thought I was locked in 😂There is a super delicious sashimi shop nearby. It is open after 8pm. You can get soy sauce from the owner. The sashimi is super delicious.The shampoo in the room smelled bad. After reporting it to the store, I returned to the B&B the next day and saw new shampoo hanging on the doorknob. 👍👍The room is equipped with cutlery, chopsticks and a microwave. There is also a Xiaoqi and McDonald's at the nearby station. Very convenient.

We had a great time at Bighem Maison. Ms. Matte is incredible. She was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. The place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The location was great, too. Ms Matte and her husband, Eric recommended and booked a Kaiseki restaurant for our anniversary on our last day in Japan. Indeed it was a great way to end our Japan trip. This couple went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Thanks Ms. Matte and Eric for such a wonderful time! We will definitely be back, Lovely Q.

I must say, it was a great experience and I can call it a home. Comfortable, the quietness of the surroundings in the Philippines is relaxing. I was able to sleep at 11 hahaha, my eyes were still closed at 9 ahhahahaand even for all the needs when traveling, like towels and etc. plus factor that the owner is very accommodating and welcoming (the Pinay is really different). Take note she will give you an idea how to save money and all the ways going to your galan. It was 💯 % amazing experience.
