I had a great experience at this inn. The onsen was super relaxing, my only regret was that I stayed here for only 1 night. Dinner was splendid, and breakfast was very good as well. The only negative is the location if you want to explore Atami, but the free shuttle from the station to the inn was very helpful. Aruga was friendly and she described every dish that came out for the meals. Both her and Suzuki were attentive and friendly. The price is not cheap, but it was totally worth the money.

This was the most lovely stay we've ever had. From the attentive staff to beautiful facility and views from our private onsen -- it was so dreamy. We stayed in the Hatsune for the views (Sakura, mountain and sea views!). Also to speak to how considerate the staff are -- I have no diet restrictions but my partner is vegetarian. He was fine without the hotel breakfast but they insisted on removing fish from some of his items so he could join everyone for breakfast!! It was so sweet. They even wrote down a list of ingredients they should avoid using for him. Also, I had no idea how to tie my yukata so one of the owners helped me and did a mini photoshoot for my partner and I in our yukata. I hope to come back one day ❤️ and for all you omnivores, you must splurge for the dinner. It was less than $100 USD but was a 5 star prix fixe meal. Don't think, just book it!!

Where to begin? This location is unbelievable, nestled up in the mountains. The staff is incredibly polite, the rooms are impeccably appointed. Ours had a massive open air private onsenAnd the food. The chef didn’t have to go as hard as he did but the man cooks like he’s opening at El Bulli on a Friday night. I have no idea why this place isn’t more famous but you should get in before they realize they could charge twice as much and it would still be a steal.

This is an experience of a lifetime. We booked 5 months in advance and picked the hatsune room for the view. It’s flawless from start to finish. This place offers free return shuttle service from Atami station to the hotel. The driver who picked us up were cleaning and still dusting the car and adjusting seats to ensure it is in its best condition. We were blessed with the weather too, so sunny and bright. Luggages have already been put in the room while we were checking in. The room looks exactly like the photos. The hot spring is even better than expected.Only downside for me was the air conditioner which can be loud at night. And the room will get very hot when it’s off, which was a struggle for me to sleep

A very beautiful ryokan. The workers are all very nice and respectful. The location is a bit far from the train station but they provide transportation (although you'll have to taxi your way back). The view is very nice during sunrise 👌

I was looking for an accommodation with a view of a seascape town and found Wa-tei Kazekomichi. The view from my room was exactly what I was looking for (the sea, the town, vegetation, and blooming cherry blossom as a bonus). …
