Camping with dogs 🏕️ The site is spacious, the distance from the neighborhood is reasonable, and it would have been great if you could see the stars.

First of all, the manager who answered the reception? was a very nice person😊His soft-spoken and thorough explanations were very easy to understand.Unfortunately, I had to sleep in the car due to the bad weather, but I wanted to go again 😊

Used by bike and solo in mid-June 2024.At the reception, the friendly staff will greet you and explain the facility to you.The site is a solo site near the administrator's office. It is a forest site, and when used, only the solo site is completely solo.It looks like it's possible for motorcycles to enter, but the steep slope, trees, and mud make it virtually impossible to enter. A small, easy-to-handle bike might be fine. The solo site is a very nice quiet place with a stream flowing through it.The ground is a little soft soil, and there are a lot of fallen pine trees that could be used for kindling. There are tree roots, etc., and it takes time to find a flat place. The toilet and kitchen are next to the manager's room. Very clean and easy to use.The ash dump is also located in front of the toilet. It was raining on the way back, but I would like to visit the sacred place next time.

I used the forest site.It was surrounded by trees and reasonably screened from neighboring sites. In the morning, I woke up to the sound of a warbler.Access to Nasu is at a level that is not too far for both driving and driving. You can get there without getting lost with Google Maps navigation. If you check the entrance in advance, you won't have to pass by.The reception was smooth. You can choose the site yourself and then tell the receptionist the site number later.Perhaps because it's a small campground, we're able to adapt to any situation.Although it was late May, it got cold at night, so it was helpful to have hot water in the washing area.I didn't use the bath/shower because it was cool and I didn't sweat, and the water seemed to be cold, but it seems like it would be useful in hot weather. The toilets and washing areas were also kept clean.Firewood costs 100 yen per stick (you pay for the amount used later).I prioritized the firewood and charcoal I had brought with me, and the firewood was so heavy that it wouldn't burn out by the time the lights went out, so I returned it without using it...It may be a good idea to install a wood splitter and make it available for use.The surrounding environment of Nasu is excellent. The nearby supermarket Igami had a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. On the way back, I stopped at the nearest Itamuro Onsen.Even in such a location, I was able to enjoy camping in the forest. It's not a newly opened, high-standard campsite with beautiful facilities, but it is well maintained and I think you can enjoy camping with a more natural feel.

This is a very comfortable campsite! The prices for the larger sites are a little higher, but that's why they have a good number of visitors, and everyone follows the rules and spends their time there. The kitchen, toilets, rock baths, and showers are all clean and there is plenty of hot water. Naturally, there is hot water in the washing area. The site is spacious and the fallen leaves are fluffy. It is highly satisfying and can be enjoyed without stress. There is a wide variety of sites that both beginners and advanced users can enjoy, and you will want to come back here again next time.Further back from the solo site, if you go down towards the river on a beast road where cars cannot drive alongside, you will find a free site that looks like a campsite.Perhaps because it's in a location where people don't usually go, the river rocks were covered with beautiful green moss and I was impressed. You can rest assured that the solo site also has a toilet and kitchen. However, to enter the solo site, you will have to drive down a fairly rough slope, so be careful.

I used it for one night at a sacred place for solo camping around the end of April. I originally made a reservation on a solo-only site, but the sacred place was empty, so the owner was kind enough to change it for me.This is a wonderful campsite with a forest auto site and a forest site along the river that is not accessible.Vehicles are not allowed in this sacred place for solo camping, but it is truly a sacred place where you can be healed by both the murmuring of the river and the trees. Also, the owner is a very friendly person, and even when I asked him a question via Twitter DM in advance, he politely answered. It was helpful because it explained the features of each site in an easy-to-understand manner.
