Used as a day trip hot spring and repeat visitor for several years. Indoor bath only. \500. Please leave your valuables at the front desk. I think the spring quality is the same as Asakaso across the road. Use this when you want to thoroughly wash your hair in the shower. If you want to fully enjoy hot water, use Asaka.There is a difference, but above all, I choose the one with less people because of the availability of the parking lot (and the availability of the bathroom). There is a high probability that it will be reserved.People who don't like hot water should avoid it. Sometimes people come home angry because they can't go in because it's too hot, and I feel bad for them and the hotel.

We draw hot water from the Shika-no-yu source.As a result, the freshness of the water is slightly lost (not as much as you can experience), but the hot water becomes mellower due to exposure to air.The building has a historical feel and is a place to relax not only your body but also your mind.Most of the time it's day trip bathing, but I've been using it for about 20 years.

It is used as a drop-in bath.The water is cloudy and the temperature is just right.Although the bathtub is not large, it can accommodate 2 to 3 people comfortably. There are no signs prohibiting tattoos, so people come in with tattoos all over their backs. It's probably a hidden gem for them, but I don't want to hang out with them.

I love Nasu Yumoto Onsen and go there often. This time, I stayed at Kikuya Ryokan for the first time.Every time I went to Foshika-no-Yu, I was always interested because it was right across the street.Judging from the results, it was very good.Good points・The meal...It was very delicious, perhaps due to the exquisite way the soup was prepared. And since it's served in your room, you can relax and enjoy it at your own pace.・The bath...Needless to say, Nasu Yumoto's cloudy hydrogen sulfide spring flows directly from it, and it's spacious and bright, and best of all, the lying bath feels great! No complaints!・Room...Spacious and clean. Speaking of greed, I would be happy if there were two chairs.・The structure of the accommodation: There are many stairs to go up and down, so those with weak legs should be careful.・Customer service: A good sense of distance without following or leaving.Location: Good location, facing the main street of Nasu Yumoto. I was allowed to stay overnight without meals.(Therefore, meal evaluation is not included)To be honest, I have stayed at several inns around this area, but the cost performance in terms of price and cleanliness of the rooms (at the level of a guesthouse) is by far the best.The hot water is a mixed spring, but you can really feel the power, and there is a shower and shampoo and body soap.Best of all, the walls in the room aren't peeling or the tatami mats are in good condition, and the mattresses are thick and not rice crackers (lol).We have everything we need and have no complaints.Considering the price per night, I can't complain about the service at all.The hostess will also leave you alone until you check out, so you don't have to worry about it.I like the hot water in this area, so I will use it again.

Fee: 500 yen.When I tried to park my car in the parking lot, a person who appeared to be my wife was standing at the door in a panic, looking at me.I was a little nervous because I thought people thought I was parked there without permission.The light in the bathroom wasn't on, so I looked for the switch, but I couldn't find it, but it was in the hallway.However, when you turn on the lights, the entrance door is frosted glass, so you can clearly see the changing room from the hallway.The women's bath was in the front and the men's bath was in the back, and I was concerned that there was a shared toilet in front of the women's bath, so I ended up not turning on the lights.The hot water is lukewarm compared to nearby hot springs.The smell of sulfur was also faint, so I wondered if it was being diluted.Apparently her husband thought the same thing.Since the water is lukewarm, you can probably take a long bath, so it might be good for families with children.

Although it is called a ryokan, the contents are equivalent to a guesthouse, but the price for weekdays is over 10,000 yen. The buildings are old and they don't get cleaned very often....This can be said about Okunasu as a whole, but there are a lot of hotels that are expensive. The bath seems to be a blend of Shika-no-Yu and some source of water. Shika-no-yu is originally hot water, but the valve seems to have been throttled so it's generally lukewarm. You can take a long bath, but the ingredients are quite concentrated, so there is a sign saying to be careful when using the bath. I guess it's also a minus that you can't use the after bath for 24 hours (from 6am to 11pm). A villa? Residents often stop by, so you can't take a relaxing bath unless it's early in the morning or at night. Grand landlady? The reception was awkward, and the evaluation for accommodation is questionable.Oh, the room I stayed in didn't have an air conditioner. There are probably many rooms that don't have one.

Visit in October 2021I've been sick recently,I haven't been to a hot spring for a while.I decided to visit on a day trip because I wanted to take a quiet soak in a sulfur spring by myself.I soaked alone in a relatively large bathtub,Nasu Yumoto Onsen seems to be getting rid of all my physical ailments, so it's nice. The temperature of the water was also just right.It's 500 yen, and the stairs and bath entrance are also included.The atmosphere is somewhat similar to Oimatsu Onsen Kiraku Ryokan (it feels like Kiraku is about 3 times more beautiful).When Kiraku's uncle tells him to take his time,The lady at Kikuya says, ``I'd like it within an hour.''Even if it was crowded, there was no one there, and even when I left, no one came. !After soaking for an hour in an acidic sulfur spring with a pH of about 2.I don't stay there like that because it gets dry, but I don't think there's any hospitality if you give me a notice.

Accommodation use in August 2021.First of all, another review said that the air conditioner wasn't on, but it's working properly now!I think it was probably installed recently. Even though we were at a high altitude, it was very hot and humid so that was a relief! I had read in advance that there was no air conditioning, so that was the only thing I was worried about.Although the building is old, the communal washrooms and toilets are well-maintained and very clean. The room was also spacious and great.Tea and snacks are available in the room, and the refrigerator contains drinks for a fee. Amenities include a toothbrush, yukata, and towels. Body soap and shampoo are provided in the bathroom.The futon was thick and fluffy, and I slept soundly until morning.Both breakfast and dinner were delicious.The proprietress brings the dishes to your room, and after you finish eating, she leaves the dishes in front of your room.We were asked if we would like to lay out the futons when we pulled up the dishes, and we laid them out ourselves.As for the hot spring, I was surprised at how hot it was, but since I was the only guest, I was able to bathe in luxury by myself while refilling with water. I was so happy that I went in many times...I would like to stay with you again when I go to Nasu Onsen. thank you very much!

I contacted them by phone the day before my stay and made a reservation for a room without meals. Major reservation sites don't carry this inn, so in a sense it's a hidden gem.There are no shops around this inn, and there are only two restaurants that close in the evening, so it is best to buy food and alcohol in advance.This time I was traveling alone, so I changed trains and buses, but there was a supermarket near Kuroiso Station, so I bought food and alcohol there.The room was about 8 tatami mats in size and came with an oil fan heater, a small LCD TV, a hot water pot, and a refrigerator (which stocked beer and sake). There is no WiFi or air conditioning. The toilet and washroom are shared, but the toilet near the bath was new and had a washlet.It was written that the hot spring is a mixture of Shika-no-Yu and Yukito-no-Yu, but the quality of the hot springs is no different from Shika-no-Yu. The hot water is cloudy and has a pH of 2.4, which is quite acidic, so some people may find it too hot. The smell of sulfur (hydrogen sulfide) is very pungent, so you'll definitely feel like you're in a hot spring. The next day, my body smells like sulfur. . .The temperature is probably around 43 degrees, which is a bit hot (at this time it was late May). I think it's perfect for people who like hot hot springs.You can enter the hot springs from 11pm at night and from 6am in the morning. There were some day-trippers until the evening, but there weren't many overnight guests, so even though I went there many times in the evening, it remained private.I thought that the cost of 5,650 yen (including consumption tax and bathing tax) for a high-quality hot spring was a good value for money for an overnight stay without meals. It's an inn you'll want to visit regularly.It was an inn that had a Showa era feel to it, but the grandmother was running the business cheerfully, so I hope she does her best.

A sulfur spring sourced from Shikanoyu. Used for day trip bathing. (Drop-in bath is available from 10:30-19:00, 500 yen for adults, 300 yen for children) During the busy Obon period, many inns give priority to overnight guests and do not allow day-trip guests, but Kikuya Ryokan was happy to let you use it. . There is a washing area in the bathroom, and only shampoo and body soap are provided. The men's bath has one shower (the women have two), but among the day-trip hot springs in this area, it has a washing area, and the shower pressure is the strongest among the hot springs from Shikanoyu, so you can wash thoroughly.The building is a bit old, but the toilets have been renovated and are clean, so it doesn't feel unsanitary.
