Dogs are allowed, so we stayed with half board. I get the impression that they are family-run and work hard even though it is an old facility with no elevator. The food was delicious, with mainly local ingredients, and the hot springs had been renovated and were comfortable, even though they were only indoors. However, when I entered the dog-friendly room, I was a bit concerned about the smell. It has been cleaned, though.I don't feel comfortable putting a futon on a carpet, so I think it would be nice to have at least two beds. There are no toilets, and the washroom only has water, so it's tough in winter. There are very few dog-friendly accommodations in Hokkaido, so I'm grateful for this. It's also very convenient for the Taushubetsu Bridge Tour, but it's said that the middle arch is about to collapse, so if you want to go, get there early!

Stayed in August 2024 with my dog.The wild vegetables and river fish on the table are apparently collected by the inn. A variety of wild vegetables are cooked with seasonings that match the ingredients, and all of them are delicious! The tempura was crispy, and the river fish Oshorokoma was stewed so soft that you could eat it whole, head to bone.As the inn was built a long time ago, some of the facilities are old and missing, but you can see that they are trying to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible. I guess the young proprietress is gradually adding a youthful feel to the place, with things like automatic toilet seats that open and close, hair dryers with strong airflow, and facial cleansing products. The smiling customer service at the dining table was also friendly and nice.Nukabira Onsen is a really small town, but it's a cozy place. This is my second visit. The hot spring park in the middle of town is well-maintained and clean, and the paths that are laid out all around it look like they'll be good for dogs' feet. The deer seem to like it too, humming along on the grass in the park. It's refreshing and fun for Tokyo residents to see deer leisurely walking around town. You can also grab some delicious coffee or soft-serve ice cream from the cafe next to the park, and relax in the footbath. We stayed for two nights and took part in the Taushubetsu Bridge tour, downhill cycling tour (downhill was canceled due to rain), and used the day trip hot springs at other hotels. I would like to visit Nukabira Onsen again.

Used for day trip bathingIf you don't call before going, there are times when things are not done even during day-trip business 💦 Especially in winter, they are almost never done.Indoor bath only for 700 yen. The bathtub was split into two, and the temperature was about 43 and 42 degrees.Slightly salty? It has an iron-like taste

Lake Nukabira itself is quiet and you can spend your time leisurely, so I recommend it.The nearby footbath is also very good. The inn is old, but it was clean and quiet, and I enjoyed the bath. The meal is full of mountain delicacies such as Oshorokoma caught in places where bears are likely to come out. There are no noisy overseas people.Very good for relaxingThe staff (front desk, female staff at meals, etc.) were very responsive and I had a pleasant time.I think you can get 100 points if you renovate the toilet. This is an inn I would like to visit again when I want to have peace of mind.

I liked Nukabira Onsen so much that I went to stay there again. This was my first time staying at this inn (the appeal is that there is a smoking room). It was a nice stay as expected.Of course, the hot water is completely genuine and without chlorine disinfection, which is the best. There's also a slightly hot bathtub, which is great. The food was also quite good. The wild vegetable season was over, but they brought out some of what they had saved.Breakfast was also good. I ended up eating three bowls of Manga-sized portions, repeatedly refilling them without permission. Both the husband and the young landlady were kind people.I also liked the way they took care of their single customer.I would like to go again in the fall.【important point】There is no air conditioning, so if you are sensitive to heat in August, it might be tough on extremely hot days (well, extremely hot days are rare in Hokkaido). The building is showing its age. It can't be helped because it's old.People who are looking for modern facilities such as saunas and elevatorsIn the first place, Nukabira Onsen itself is not suitable. You should stay at a larger hotel.Unlike Lake Akan and Noboribetsu, Nukabira Onsen has only small inns.*Please buy any items you bring in at the nearby Yamato souvenir shop ~ Please ♥️

2024.6.29 Accommodation. We had candied stew of Osorokoma that the host himself caught. It has no odor and is soft and fluffy. The small portions of wild vegetables are also exquisite. I was deeply moved by the many heartfelt home-cooked dishes from night to morning. Hot springs are also available. Go back and forth between hot water and medium temperature water. Since there is no open-air bath or sauna, you can immerse yourself in the hot water itself. The beautiful design of the washbasin is probably the young proprietress' taste. I'm glad that the men's bath also has lotion. My last solo trip to Hokkaido was soothing for my body, mind, and tongue. This is an inn that I would like to revisit with my family someday. thank you very much!

An inn with a history. It sounds good, but overall it's old.It looks like the bathroom and guest room have been slightly renovated, but there is an oldness that cannot be hidden. The room was on the third floor, but there was no elevator, only stairs. And it's quite sudden. There is no toilet in the room, but there is a sink.Every time I opened the door to the room, there was a very loud squeak, there was no air conditioner or fan in the room, so it was hot, and the room smelled of cigarettes, probably because it was a smoking room. There are two hot spring baths, one high temperature and one medium temperature. There is no open air, sauna, or cold bath. It's a bit disappointing to have it this far, but the breakfast was wonderful. It's not a buffet, but it's full of mountain delicacies such as Yachibuki ohitashi, fuki miso, Udo kinpira, and Gyoja garlic. And the natto is delicious, firm-grained natto grown locally in Kamishihoro.I like that they use local materials. White rice progresses. This time I only had a breakfast plan, but I wanted to try dinner as well. The whole thing is old, so people who like retro may find it interesting. For now, I think it would be a good idea to insert a Kure 556 into the hinge of the door of the room.

I stayed in the dog 🐶 room. There is a large park nearby where you can enjoy walking, and there is no charge for dogs. Above all, the wild vegetables in the meal are very delicious. Matsumae pickled Gyoja garlic is exquisite.
