Today, three of my friends and I took advantage of the ``Hot Bath Day Trip Plan'' at ``Surijotei Otori'' in Iizaka Onsen, Fukushima Prefecture, for the first time. This is a plan where you can relax while enjoying a Japanese-style large public bath, open-air bath, seasonal cuisine, and hot springs (for 2 or more people). This time, the dinner was prepared in a private room, so I was able to enjoy the food without any hesitation. The sashimi was especially delicious. There is a sauna in the large public bath, and it was not too hot, but the temperature of the water was hotter in the open-air bath. Both the hot spring and sauna were empty and I felt very refreshed✨❗️

The rice tastes bad. There was no miso in the miso soup, and the whole dish had a vague seasoning, so it didn't have any special features, even though it claims to be run by JA. I feel like it would be good to at least include the brand of rice or the details of the vegetables. All that was written was the effects of the nutritional ingredients, which in this day and age you can look up on the internet and already know. The three types of curry for breakfast were very similar in taste and I was disappointed. Honestly, I'm disappointed in the number of items that can't be called a buffet. The bath and room were good.

I went there because I heard there was a sauna.Foreign tourists have bad manners,No sense of compromiseTake a cold bath without sweatingStart AkasuriMats are left in the saunaThe floor of the changing room is full of hair.I don't think I'll go there in the future,If you go to a sauna, you might want to stop.

The breakfast was good, but perhaps because the venue was small and there weren't many staff, I had to wander around looking for an open table because the dishes hadn't been cleared away after I finished eating. If you don't have a lot of staff, I think it would be a good idea to create a place where customers can drop off their tableware after eating, and ask customers to help out.

I decided to go in a hurry because I wanted to take a hot spring and relax.I had a plan to check out at 12:00, so I booked that. For dinner, the pork comparison was delicious. The young waiters were also very attentive.I got a ¥4000 in-house facility ticket, so after dinner I sampled sake in the lounge and had gyoza at an izakaya. All staff are kind and friendlyWhat surprised me was the breakfast buffet. The vegetables, rice, and natto are delicious!None of them are unique, but they all have a handmade feel. This is the first time I spent more than an hour at a breakfast buffet (lol)In spring, you can see weeping cherry blossoms from the lounge. It was a hotel where I could say from the bottom of my heart, "I want to come again."The members of the Seiko Gakuin baseball team who stayed the same day also decided to participate in Koshien.I feel more close to you (lol)

I have stayed here many times for year-end parties, memorial services, and class reunions. I have never stayed there personally. I have no choice. There are many people around me who are involved with agricultural cooperatives, so when it comes to Iizaka Onsen, I end up having parties and staying overnight at Otori-san (T_T).It's true that the building is magnificent, but the smell of cigarettes from the days when smoking was allowed in the rooms still lingers. Even though smoking is prohibited in the entire building, there are still some old men and fathers who use empty cans as ashtrays to smoke, right? Also, I'm always surprised at how bad the rice tastes. Why is it so bad even though it's a JA Fukushima facility? There is almost no one I know who thinks Ootori-san's food is delicious. Including farmers. So what does it mean that there are reviews saying that the food is delicious?Or is the rice provided different for individual accommodation and group banquet accommodation?Rumor has it that they use unsold blended old rice or ancient rice from within the prefecture, or not.Well, not only the rice but also the food is not very tasty. The bath is simply a circulating bath with hot spring water and heating.

We had a pleasant stay at this establishment. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the air conditioning was not very good. The onsen there was quite big and the water temperature was good. Breakfast here is good and the spread is very impressive. The staff here are also very friendly and welcoming. They were willing to explain about the hotel and the answer any queries, despite speaking very little English.

I visited during the cherry blossom season. The weeping cherry blossoms in the courtyard were spectacular.
