The price/performance ratio is very good with this place. It's very central, just a few min walk from Gotanda station on the yamanote line. Though the bath and toilets are shared they are very clean and we never had to line up or wait. The rooms are tatami floored and are clean and cleaned everyday. The staff are courteous and unintrusive. Overall a great pain-free stay, would consider them again if I come back.Only downside is it is close to the trains so you can hear it even through all the shutter layers. Delicate sleepers make sure to bring ear plugs and other anti-noise measures.

The hotel owners are kind and considerate, and they even make handmade souvenirs for tourists to take away for free.

The Japanese-style tatami room is very comfortable and relaxing. It is very close to the station. There is a convenience store just outside. Hot water is provided every day, which is very considerate.

Stayed here twice on February 2024, once when I arrived to Tokyo, and again before I left Japan. The best played I stayed in Japan and in a perfect location!

It's close to Gotanda Station, close to the park you see on Farewell's YouTube, and it's cheap even though it's a long weekend. The water area was clean. I think people who don't like old smells in their rooms should avoid it. I was completely fine.

Loved our stay here. 2 rooms for family of 5, one with private bathroom. The bathroom was really nice though the common space and Japanese soaker tub is nice also. Authentic lovely-smelling straw tatami mats. Doubled futon for comfortable sleep. Green tea and snacks refilled daily. Kind staff. Great location. Highly recommend!
