The atmosphere inside the store has a mysterious yet familiar feeling. It is large inside, has a great seating area with classical speakers and furniture, and you can enjoy free coffee. However, there is only a small indoor bathing pool in Higahara Hot Spring, which is open until 20:00. There are also open-air hot springs, but they are mixed bathing until 20:30. There is also a Kakiri hot spring that can only be used by hotel guests.

It's an old, but calming inn. The bath, Nukabira Onsen, is a slightly alkaline salt spring that is clear, colorless, and almost odorless. The hot water is soft and very pleasant, warming your body to the core. The open-air bath overlooking the white birch forest was truly the best. Attentive service was everywhere, and this was my first accommodation in Hokkaido for sightseeing, and it was really nice.
