Eric at the restaurant, accomodating to our requests. Raju who drove us safely around the island, acceding to our last minute changes in plans on the road with a smile.Overall 5 star service for the staff & the resort ! Keep up the good work !

We love Kelong Trikora! It's an amazing place, my husband (Indian Singaporean) and I (German) spent 4 days there over Chinese New Year. The team there, especially Linda and Eric, set a new standard to customer service! They are so deeply caring for each guest, it's touching. When it rained they placed an umbrella outside of every villa, so that guest wouldn't get wet on their way to dinner, when we wanted to go on a trip and the hotel driver was unavailable Linda called several taxi companies and in the end offered to drive us with the staff car, even when the fan did not immediately work three people showed up and got it fixed within 10mins. Kelong Trikora is a very quiet resort with a beautiful pool and 10 separate huts. The cuisine is out of this world, even though the menu is a bit limited (focus on Indonesian and Chinese), so many of the dishes were simply the best (can recommend the fish curry, the sotong bakar, the kailan and kangkong and as daily special chicken satay, each main about 180K, veggies 75-90K). It takes about an hour from the ferry terminal Bandar Bintan Telani (Lagoi) and from the resort we went to the blue lakes and sand dunes (1hr drive, absolutely worth it!). We tried the restaurants in the two resorts next to this and got utterly disappointed, food was horrible and the service even worse, so we would next time just stick to the resort kitchen. All the staff is very nice and chitchatty if you're open to it, but not forcing conversations upon anybody. For my husband's birthday I asked them to please help me get a chocolate cake and they got a super cute beautiful cake for me. The only thing to keep in mind is that you're dependant on the hotel's transport (so plan a bit in advance and let them know) and that during low tide the water draws back about 1km, so not really for swimming in the sea, but the pool is amazing and the whole area is covered in nice fluffy green grass, so nice to walk around barefoot. We were also very intrigued by a bridge just in front of the hotel that goes like a long pier for about 1km into the sea, there used to be a hotel at the end of it, now it's ruins but fun to explore! Unfortunately we had two rainy days as well, then there's not so much you can do apart from getting massages and go for food, next time we would bring bord or card games probably. For us Kelong Trikora is a hidden gem, we created beautiful memories here and will certainly come back again! Thanks again to the team and keep it up, you're the best!

My boyfriend and I booked a room at The Kelong Trikora Resort for a last minute year end getaway and it was perfect for how quiet and relaxing it was! A small resort of only 10 rooms, there's a lot of privacy everywhere. Especially loved the abandoned kelong pathway which we took multiple strolls upon, and the deck chairs for reading, napping, and just having a hot tea whilst enjoying the chilly breeze at night.At the restaurant, Eric & Tio were always super friendly and ready to serve up good vibes, warm hospitality, and creatively played around with similar ingredients to prepare different dishes for us guests. Over our 4 mornings, we had eggs (prepared your way, upon your request), Nasi Lemak, toast/french toast, mini pancakes, stir-fried noodles, sausages, keropok, and fruit platters.Main downside is the lack of life in the surrounding areas (but that helps preserve the tranquility of this space). Albeit a 15-20min walk away, there are a few little shops selling otah-otah & fresh coconut along the way on both directions of the main road, and 2 other accommodations right next door offering other food/drink options at decent prices.Overall very comfortable space, clean and aesthetically pleasing. Nice pool and extremely well-maintained lawn. We really appreciate the gardener's efforts and selection of trees/shrubs. Would want to return for another restful trip in future!

Best serene resort in my experience. Stress free, friendly customer service by all stuff they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and contented, clean and natural place. Fresh air, clear blue sky. A short hope from the carpet grass to the private beach. Chill night with stars and sea breeze. Authentic and delicious local food with many variety. Masseuse were really good and professional. I give it 11 out of 10.

it was a lovely experience and a complete recharge, i along with my wife had a beautiful time , and Eric and Erlinda are lovely staff and wonderful hosts , they make the experience truly memorable
