If you go from your hometown, it feels very cool even in the middle of summer. The water from the tap is also very cold! The staff are very kind and kind, they sell vegetables at low prices, and there are lots of activities nearby, so you can have a lot of fun!!Once you get down the mountain, there are plenty of roadside stations and hardware stores, so I went camping with my dog and it was so much fun that I decided to go back this summer! !I want to go again next summer. It's a ski resort in the winter, so I'd like to take care of you again!

I used the Tyrol Power Deck site solo on July 28, 29, and 30, 2024.The receptionist was kind and led us to the site by car. The facility was also kept clean. After 8 a.m., we collected trash and after the rain, we lent towels. This time, I set up a tent on the deck for the first time, so I felt safe even in the rain.Restaurant Tirol, which is located near the site, is not open, but it is fully equipped with toilets, kitchens, coin laundry, dryers, drink vending machines, electrical outlets, and wifi. In particular, the stage with a large roof was cool even during the day and you could see Mt. Madarao. There were only two groups on the first day, but after that I was alone in the highlands. At night, I was worried, so I slept in my car. This time, we set up a tarp so we could stay cool even under the sun during the day.At night, I needed a T-shirt, long sleeves, and a sleeping bag.I went to Hokkaido last year and the year before, but it was hot, so this year I made the right decision to go high-altitude camping. On the first day, we climbed Mt. Madarao, and on the second day, we went for a short course run. The weather was nice both times, and it was hot under the sun, so I drank the whole bottle right away. For shopping, there are many stores in the Iiyama Station area, but the steep slopes make it difficult for light cars. There are convenience stores and supermarkets in the direction of Myoko Kogen Station. The slope wasn't too steep either. There are also 3 hot springs nearby, all of which were good. This is a recommended campsite for getting away from the heat and doing activities.

This time, I used a dog site because it was a two-person camping trip with my dog. This feels like a summer highland camp. The staff and location were both great, and the temperature was from July 31st to August 2nd, but as long as you blocked out the sunlight, it was cool and the breeze was pleasant. I slept with the window slightly open at night, but it felt chilly, so I think a towel blanket would be enough. On the first night, it rained heavily from the evening, but the wooden deck (4 x 4m) was installed, so my dog didn't get dirty. There was also a trekking course with my dog, but since my dog is small, it would get buried in the grass and slippery after rain, so I gave up on it, but instead I was able to enjoy just walking around the vast well-maintained slopes. This might be better for small dogs. The second night was sunny and we were able to see a sky full of stars. There are no insects such as centipedes or mountain flies, but general insect countermeasures are essential. The shop has gas, firewood, charcoal, ice, drinks, etc., but it is better to bring your own food. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the supermarket. You can walk to the hot springs, but there is a fee. The kitchen has hot water and is located nearby. The toilet has a heated toilet seat. I had a great time so I'm sure I'll return. There was an elderly couple who had bad manners, such as listening to the radio at high volume all day long and walking their dog off-leash, but it's a dog-friendly campsite, so if you're planning to bring your dog, it's good manners. Take care and enjoy. I wonder if my wife who hates camping will come here too lol

I went there for two nights with two friends and family during the September holidays.I used a group site, and the grass was beautiful, butIt was diagonal, so I had some trouble sleeping and playing with the ball.Although the toilet and washing area (hot water is available) are nearby, there are no shower rooms or bathrooms (the available hotel bathrooms are far away and difficult to walk), which may be inconvenient for family campers. .There happened to be an event called Shinshu Trail nearby, and it was lively from the evening onwards. Partly because of this, there is a parking lot for climbers within the site, and there are many cars passing by, so be careful if you have children. The group site is spacious and I think children can play to their heart's content. There were many fallen branches that could be used for bonfires.
