Since I visited during the off-season, the toilets, running water, and hot showers were not allowed to be used, but the grass seemed to have been mowed, so it seems that they are maintained every year.It seems that it was opened about 30 years ago, and most of the campsite is occupied by small cottages, and there are only a few places where you can pitch a tent near the playground equipment, and the parking lot is a little far away. Is the location a problem? It's a bit of a hurdle to have to apply and pay (about 1,000 yen per night for a tent) to the city hall in advance (that is, during weekdays), but it seems like it's suitable for people who like less popular camping sites. This is the site.

At the beginning of June, it was before the opening, so it was in disrepair, but I think it will be taken care of by the time it opens. This is a mountain facility, but the river erosion check dam facility down the street looked cool, but it was closed.

It felt a little lonely. Is it because of the off season?

We went to the Insect Zoo which has rhino and stag beetles in a tent about the size of two tennis courts and stopped off at the camping round on the way back. The camp site has a roller slide, a bbq area, and great views from the top of the mountain. The tent shaped cabins often open onto expansive views. There was a friendly vibe in the bbq area. Friends could be made.
