When I went there for the first time in a while, it was closed to the public due to deterioration🈲 It was forbidden to enter the place, and the use of the restroom was prohibited. In addition, I could see the remains of a car fire and burnt vegetation, and I couldn't see any signs of maintenance.I'm very disappointed! ️It is true that deterioration can be seen in many places, but I think it would be too easy to close down a well-received park due to negligence on the part of the city administration❗

Prohibited from use due to deterioration. Public toilets also have colored cones at the entrance, making them unusable. The scenery is not good either.

The main road is closed and the only way to climb is on a narrow old road. Although it was a Hiace, it was still possible to pass. However, the campground itself was closed and there was a sign posted prohibiting fires. There is also a sign prohibiting the use of the restrooms, and a restriction line has been put up around the area prohibiting the use of the pavilion. It was managed by Kaminoseki Town, so when I contacted them, they told me that it was a natural park, not a campsite, and that the use of fire was not allowed. The wooden benches and tables were also partially or completely destroyed. It may have been caused by people with bad manners, as there was an open fire and glass was scattered around.Unfortunately, the scenery and atmosphere looked good, but I gave up and camped somewhere else.I hope I can go camping someday.

(postscript)8/23: When I contacted the town hall, I was told that it was currently closed due to deterioration of the fence. Kaminoseki Town Hall said they did not know the reopening schedule, as it was under the jurisdiction of the prefecture. When I went to use it for camping on August 3rd, entry was prohibited. We do not know when it will reopen, so please check with the town hall if you are planning to go.

Although the path is a bit narrow, you will feel a sense of freedom once you reach the top. It's a bit of a walk to get to the shrine, but there are torii gates that give it a slightly different feel. The torii gate is made of metal, so the paint is peeling off and rust is appearing.

A campsite with just a green area, parking lot, restrooms, and a gazebo. There is running water in the toilet, but it is not potable. There are no cooking facilities either. There is no administration building. …

The toilets are clean. There is no water source. This is a park with a grassy area where you can pitch a tent. There were new marks left by the boar. The view of the sea and island is good 👍️
