I stopped by and used the hot springs.Unlike the previous kakenagashi, it was not a simmering hot water. The sauna doesn't seem to be maintained and has a strange smell. The water bath is a little lukewarm. A female employee is cleaning the changing room. Don't you understand that men don't like this too? It's a bit hard to be naked in front of a clothed woman.I wonder why male employees don't clean. The total price is 1,200 yen including the locker fee.Let's go now.

A hot spring located in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.Nearby is Ichinomata Onsen Kanko Hotel, a sister hotel.According to online information, Ichinomata Onsen Grand Hotel opened in 1965. I don't know if it's a building from back then, but although it shows its age, it's kept clean. The highlight is the Japanese garden in the courtyard. The pond with its lush green trees and fountain is very beautiful. The slippery feeling you feel the moment you step into a hot spring is unusual. In addition, the outdoor hot water bath is so powerful that it has been featured on TV variety shows. If I have a chance, I would definitely like to stay there.

🔹I arrived in less than an hour from Kozuki Inter. Other people's reviews said that the road was narrow, but I was able to get there using the navigation system without any problems.🔹Exterior/BuildingIt's an old building, so it's old! It has a good old atmosphere! I think it depends on the person whether they feel that way or not.🔹Around the front deskThe inside is well kept, and when you enter through the entrance, there is a sofa space in front of you, and the front desk and shop are on the left.Coffee and ice cream were available for a fee.You can see the well-kept garden.I was able to go out into the garden, and I was able to get carp food at the front desk and feed it to the carp in the pond.🔹RoomThe room I stayed in was a Western-style room, so it was wheelchair accessible. In addition to the bed, there is a tatami area, and the building is wheelchair accessible. The toilet is extremely spacious. There was a table in the room so we could drink tea there. There was one rice cracker each, a teapot, four teacups, and a mineral motor.I think if you need coffee or other drinks you need to bring them.It would be nice if there was coffee in the room.Is the toilet in the room on the second floor? Is it because the building is old? I think so, but there was a problem where if two people entered in a row, the second person would not be able to flow. However, if water collects in the tank, it will flow, so I was able to wait a little while and flush it out. I guess there's no way to get it out because it's old here.🔹AmenitiesThe only amenities provided in the room are towels, bath towels, and toothbrushes. There are lotions, creams, and face wash items in the public bath, but none in the room.If you want to wash your face etc. in your room, you will need to bring your own. Also, there are no combs in the room or bathroom, so you'll have to bring your own.🔹BathThere are about 10 washing areas, 1 indoor bath, 2 outdoor baths, a jacuzzi and a hot spring bath♨️Many people have commented that the hot springs are slimy, but I felt that it wasn't as slippery as I expected. However, after soaking in the hot spring, your skin will become smooth. I took a bath 4 times in one night.🔹Dressing roomIt's old, so it feels like an old-fashioned changing room. There was a lotion cleansing lotion in front of the mirror, and then some peeling cream and heel cream were placed in my hands. The towels and bath towels are old, but they get wet after one use, so they will replace them with new ones at the front desk every time you use them. The tatami corridor that you walk through when going to the bath was very atmospheric and I loved it.There is a rest area between the entrances of the men's and women's baths, with tatami mats and a TV, so many people seem to meet up there. In front of the rest area, there was a server that dispensed water, tea, and hot water, so we could drink freely.🔹DinnerIt seems that some people ate in their rooms, but we ate in the large hall.We enjoyed a meal that included 5 types of sashimi, abalone steak, beef steak, and small side dishes. There is also a menu, and you can order small additional dishes such as fried chicken and tamagoyaki. The hotel's original Daiginjo was so delicious that I sent it as a gift to my brother in another prefecture from the front desk. Recommended.🔹BreakfastBreakfast at the same place as dinner.Small dishes such as grilled fish and tsukudani, miso soup, and even boiled tofu.In addition to the table, there were raw eggs, wakame furikake, noritama, and seasoned seaweed for guests to bring their own.Coffee was also a free drink, so you could drink it after your meal or take it back to your room.Free refills of rice and miso soup.Everyone, even the women, had second helpings.🔹StaffThe front desk and dinner staff were very polite and kind. I had a good impression.🔹OverviewLast month, I stayed at Yuda Onsen in the same Yamaguchi prefecture, and I had the experience of paying twice as much as here and being completely unsatisfied.Based on that experience, I was satisfied with this one considering the cost performance. All the staff members are pleasant. At this price, I think it would be easy to come back again.I would like to come back again if I have a chance. There are apparently spectacular fireflies in the river in front of the river in early summer, so if the timing is right, I'd like to visit again at that time.

I went on a family trip. Meals are served in your room, and if you pay 2,000 yen you can also rent out an open-air bath. Dinner was also luxurious and satisfying! Since we went in the summer, we gave the kids fireworks. I am very attentive and would like to go again. However, since it is located deep in the mountains, there are no convenience stores nearby. I think it's better to buy what you need in advance.

The room was also a Japanese-style room, and I had applied for the use of a baby cot, diaper trash can, etc. at the time of reservation, so they would have it ready for me when I arrived. They are still too young to sleep on the same futon, so it's great if you're traveling with an infant.Overall it was good, but unfortunately there was a fatal mistake at dinner. We had dinner in our room, but they had a large room available and asked us if we could stay there, so we decided to use that.Unlike other people, the food was not served slowly, but in my case, even though I had told them in advance that I was allergic to shellfish, the chawan mushi came out, so I scooped it up with a spoon. It had shrimp in it and was scary.I thought that this might be the case with Chawanmushi, so my companion who didn't have an allergy ate it without pointing it out. However, the next dish of tempura came out with a lot of shrimp, so when I pointed it out, he replied that he wasn't in charge (first of all). (It was different from the person who served the meal.)After that, the person who first served the food (person in charge?) came, and the first thing he said was, "Did you eat the chawan mushi?" I understand that you're worried and wish you hadn't eaten, but I thought it was strange that you didn't even apologize until the end. After that, allergy-friendly meals were provided, so I guess they had prepared them, but they hadn't coordinated with each other. It's a small matter, but I received a phone call from the hotel on the day of the call, but I couldn't pick it up, so I called back, but the person in charge was not available, so I said I would call again, but there was no call. When using the hot springs, the coin lockers were not refundable.I was also dissatisfied with the fact that the air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy (like a ventilation fan?), making it difficult to sleep. The receptionist was great, so if you don't have allergies, have a baby who can't sit up on his own, don't want to spend a lot of money, but still want to eat dinner slowly, this is a good hotel to choose from.
