It's a campsite with strict rules, so people with bad manners should avoid it, but it was comfortable.

The scenery is very good. There used to be a restaurant where you could eat yakiniku while watching the cows grazing, but now only the building remains.

This is a highland campsite with a sense of freedom. Unfortunately, there are a number of caveats. I'm guessing that there has been some damage from unwanted campers in the past, but it's really strict to keep bonfires open until 9pm.I use it several times a year because there are no noisy campers and it's quiet. They seem to be very concerned about damage to the lawn caused by bonfires, and they have a number of rules in place. Even with such restrictions, my priority is not to encounter noisy campers, so I can feel safe here.

Forgetting to buy ingredients in the mountains can be fatal. Insects come in classes such as horseflies. Mosquito coils may not be of much use since there are almost no mosquitoes. Charcoal left over from the previous day is to be taken home or burned until it becomes ash, but it seems that some people did not follow the rules the day before, so a new rule was suddenly created. We were also considering banning charcoal. In the first place, there is almost no explanation of the rules on the HP. Even if there were, there would be some differences from the explanation on the day. The store is a warehouse. I don't know if it's for sale, rental, or equipment. The official website said that firewood was being sold at a shop, but it is not available. I think they will stop selling charcoal eventually. If you go, you'll have to be an intermediate level camper or above. There is also a rule against making loud noises, so camping with small children as a family is not possible. It looks like there are activities around, but if you walk, you will have to walk up some steep hills. The female manager is nice, but the male has a bossy attitude.I really don't like the management and customer service aspects, so I won't go there again.

I came to Hiroshima in the summer, so to avoid the heat, I went camping at the high Rakan Plateau. Although the address is in Yamaguchi Prefecture, it is about 1.5 hours from Miyajima, and we also stopped at Hatsukaichi on the way to buy food. The campsite is very large. However, even if you use a bonfire stand, you will need to place two tools underneath.

I wrote a review two years ago, but I'm writing it again.First of all, the aerial photos that come up when you search on Google are from when this campsite was established, so the trees have not grown and it gives the impression that there is no shade, but as of June 2024, the broad-leaved trees on the site are large. The branches spread out and there is plenty of shade!Even when the temperature below is over 30 degrees, it's cool and refreshing here. (The altitude is over 800) The stars are beautiful, and it's fun to hear countless types of birds singing, including squirrels, yellow-bellied flycatchers, cuckoos, red-bellied flycatchers, and black-bellied blackbirds. Also, most of the sites are well maintained and very beautiful with grass and grass. The toilet is clean and has a washlet. The sink is also very spacious and clean.Since there are strict rules, there are almost no scorch marks from the bonfire, so you can use it comfortably. There's even Wi-Fi, so I was able to download e-books to the reader, which was great! !I didn't use the power supply, but even if I did, it was only 500 yen more.

I am a heavy user and use it about 10 times every year. I have used various campgrounds so far, but the reason why I use this one so often is that the starry sky is by far the most beautiful, the water area is very clean (the restrooms are equipped with washlets), and the campsite is well-maintained. This is because there are no noisy campers. The term "noisy campers" is a bit of a misnomer, but in short, we don't have customers like Paripi, we don't have campers with children who come to our site, and in fact, for the past 10 years, we've only had customers with good manners. It's not that I don't like children, and I actually raised two boys at home. I've been going camping since I was little, and when I did, I usually went to campgrounds where there were a lot of campers with kids. Now that my children are older, the reasons for going camping are to get away from reality and relieve the stress of everyday life, enjoy nature as much as possible, and spend time relaxing in a quiet environment. If that's what you're looking for when camping, I would definitely recommend this campsite.
