This is a campsite with a magnificent view of Mt. Iwate. You can feel nature up close. It seems like it's been featured as a popular campsite recently, but when I went there, it was a little-known campsite that only a few people knew about. The hot spring facility is located a short drive away.

Even though it is a free site, you can drive close to it. There is the gurgling sound of the kawaguchi weir, so it's not quiet at night. A 10-minute drive to the supermarket. Please note that the nearby hot springs close at 8 p.m. The manager is only available until 4 p.m. But after that, if you fill out the form and put in the payment, you can check in even if you arrive a little late.

Used for solo camping for one night on a certain weekend in September.Perhaps because it was a weekend, there were a lot of families using this campsite, but I have been to many different campgrounds, but the manners of some of the guests at this campsite are the worst. The two young men don't know the common sense of campgrounds and start bonfires after 9 p.m. and keep the bonfire going until after 10 p.m. It's the worst...It's a camping site that allows pets, but there are dogs barking all night long...Parents and children with small children were making loud noises until almost 10 p.m....I hear car doors opening and closing in the middle of the nightIt's a shame that some of the campers' bad manners ruined the campsite, which has a beautiful view, low fees, and is well-maintained.

There is no check-in or check-out time, so you can set up and take down your tent as you please. The site is free during the holidays, and it fills up one after another from the morning. There is plenty of free space along the river on top of the natural embankment. You can also play in the river. The staff were also very nice 😀

I used it for a day trip. When I asked the receptionist, there was basically no check-in time, but since there was a possibility that some people were still sleeping around, I was asked to set up my tent from around 9:00 AM.We set up along the river, but the sound of the river, the appropriate shade of trees,We were able to have a great time as there were not many insects. This is one of the campgrounds I would like to visit again.
