I went there by cycling.Please park your bicycle.The night sky was full of stars and we could see the Milky Way and shooting stars!You should definitely see it at night by the seaside.The manager was very kind and gave me a ride to Ryuzaki Onsen.If you forget your toothbrush, you can buy one at the hot springs for ¥100.Girls should never forget their amenities.If you forget, you can buy it at the hot springs.Laundry is free! There is no dryer.The room on the second floor is very clean, but the air conditioner doesn't work well in midsummer and it's quite hot, and it's best to give up on Wi-Fi and go cycling or swimming instead.There are no convenience stores, so it's better to buy some juice at the hot spring!That's why you should order breakfast lolThe complimentary coffee was delicious~

Two women stayed here.When I told them my arrival time, the manager came close to greet me.He was a very friendly and pleasant manager.The room was clean and very quiet so I was able to get a good night's rest.The hot springs felt very nice.If the weather is nice, I think it would be the most wonderful place. (It's cloudy this time)I would like to use it again.

Since it is an official guesthouse of Shimakuru 2024, we stayed in a dormitory for several nights. The location was great. I'm a shy person, so I was a little worried about the dormitory having a lot of shared spaces, but the friendly manager and another dormitory guest ended up chatting for almost four hours before I knew it. The purpose was to stay overnight, but I was able to relax and relax. The facility is clean and you can store your bicycle indoors, which is a plus. If you're staying on Oshima, this is a must-see.

Three people stayed here the other day.The room had been renovated and felt clean, so I felt safe using it.Also, since the garden is close to the sea, you can hear the sound of the waves when you are in the garden.The kitchen was available for use. There were plates, cups, and knives, as well as a microwave and rice cooker.It seems that there was no caretaker before, but recently a caretaker came, so I felt safe at night.The room was clean and I felt safe using it. I would like to stay again.

Luckily, the weather was nice, and I was soothed by the blue sky, the ocean right in front of me, and the relaxing sound of the waves that I could hear even from my room.Recommended for people who want to forget about everyday life and enjoy a relaxing time.

After staying at Chidori Honten, there were no vacancies, so I stayed at Hoshikaze, which was my first time.It was so quiet and relaxing that I was able to relax and take my time. Great location.

I used it for one night including a barbecue.There were no concerns about hygiene or problems with lawn care as mentioned in other reviews.

It is my personal experience and might be a different story for others. This property is for a single family or for a group of bachelors.I would not recommend this space for any travellers who believe in hygiene.Main problems are:1. Toilet is common for gents and ladies and does not have proper locks.2. Bathing area again has a very flimsy lock and ladies would check 10 times before they decide to take bath.3. Property is not well maintained.4. Accessibility to other tourist destinations is difficult as it's in a very remote place.5. There is a big karaoke room which is the best room of this building. But unfortunately, this room is allotted to the 2 house keepers and guest cannot use this room between 10pm - 10am. So if you are a traveler who has booked for sightseeing, then you will be not be able to take advantage of this space.6. Kitchen is there but the cooking utensils are bare minimum.

Ideal for training camps and retreats. Swim as much as you want in the sea right in front of you. It's a bit disappointing because it's old and there are ants and fleas inside.

Private stay for about 10 family members.We had a lot of fun at the banquet and karaoke.However, I don't think there is a fee for using the lawn because the garden is grassy and there is a BBQ.Well, I didn't have BBQ.

Salt water hot spring.People with skin diseases are welcome to come here for hot spring treatment.Chapped skin heals quickly.

10 people stayed overnight, had BBQ, and enjoyed karaoke.The coast was beautiful, and the towering rocks were impressive.I plan to come again!
