Revisited in September 2020. This time I used the car for 2 nights and 3 days. Apply for a reservation online, and the facility will contact you by phone after confirming availability. The method of use is the same as last time, first pass the campsite, register at Mori no Gakusha, and head to the site. After listening to the instructions on how to use the venue, you can take your position at an available site of your choice. You are free to enter and exit the gate at the entrance, but the rule is that you must close it once you exit. Just like last time, the staff were friendly and polite, and I was able to camp comfortably. Although it is not far from the city center of Ninohe, the temperature is about 5 degrees Celsius lower due to the high altitude. It's still very hot, and I think it's hot compared to the usual temperature at Mt. Orizume, but it's a good idea to bring long sleeves and a layer just in case.Previous post: Used in Can2. The site is about 10 minutes down a winding road from the prefectural highway, but the gate is closed, so first check in at Mori no Gakusha. Afterwards, we will head to the site with the staff and receive an explanation of the site. The site has 21 lots and is first-come, first-served, but you generally need to make a reservation by phone in advance, so even if you arrive late, you won't be left without a spot. On the other hand, if you don't make a reservation, you won't be able to enter. There is a toilet and kitchen in the center of the site, and a shower building near the site entrance, but there is also a toilet here, so I don't think you will have much trouble no matter where you camp. Open fires and bonfires are prohibited on the beautiful lawn site, but charcoal cooking is OK. Due to the high altitude, depending on the weather, you can see a beautiful sunset in the evening, a starry sky at night, and a sea of clouds in the morning. It takes about 20 minutes to go to the city center where there are supermarkets, etc., so there is no problem at all if you go shopping after setting up. The manager seems to be on duty and occasionally comes to check on us, so you can feel safe using the property from a security perspective. You have to take your trash home with you, but it's free, so there's nothing to complain about. The staff was very kind and I was able to use the facility with peace of mind. The campsite is not far from the city center, but it is a quiet place, so if you are in a group and want to make a lot of noise, it will be a nuisance, so it would be better to spend a few thousand yen and go to an automatic campsite with power. It's a place where you can relax while listening to the sound of trees swaying in the wind. By the way, the road to the campsite is a nice winding road, but the road is narrow and there are a lot of fallen leaves, so if you are riding a motorcycle, please drive safely.
