We would love to give a lot more points! The property and its location are perfect for a vacation in Hiraizumi. The train station is just a few minutes walk away and you can easily get around the area on a bike. The wonderful and warm hosts go out of their way to make you feel very welcome and definitely want to come back. The breakfast is also wonderful and was prepared especially vegetarian for us.(Tip for a stay in Hiraizumi: The shops and restaurants close very early, sometimes at 3 p.m. You can reach a supermarket and a few convenience stores on foot. If you don't have a car, we recommend exploring Hiraizumi by bike.)

This B&B is highly recommended. The owner and his wife only receive 1-4 guests per day. After I went to Oshu to run a marathon alone, I came to stay. I was the only one and felt very honored❤️.The boss and his wife are very talkative, polite and courteous.I don’t know if I am impolite in any way. After all, the customs in Taiwan and Japan are different. The breakfast is also delicious, and the boss also serves coffee, which is very pleasant.I asked the boss and they are currently closed from Monday to Wednesday. So when you see that you can’t make a reservation, please confirm the day of the week.If you don’t mind chatting with the boss and his wife, they won’t bother you! It’s me chatting with them, using my broken English😜

I'd give this place a 6/5 if I could. The elderly couple running this bed & breakfast were some of the friendliest hosts I have ever encountered. They greeted us with enthusiasm, made sure we were comfortable, and catered to our dietary needs.Genuinely some of the loveliest people I have ever met. As we were leaving, they walked us to the end of the street and were waving goodbye the whole way.I really cannot recommend this place enough.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay with the Yamadas. Both Mr and Mrs. Yamadas are thoughtful and respectful in creating and delivering that experience to us throughout our stay. The freshly cut flowers from their garden, the homemade origami parrots hanging on the mantel shelf, the delicious traditional Japanese breakfast with award winning local rice, and the delightful exchanges of travel experiences are just a few examples of how the Yamadas deliver their blend of magic. For me, the magic of travel is to be adventurous, to stay curious , and to reconnect with our inner-child that rejuvenates our life journey. Mr. and Mrs. Yamada, thank you for delivering that to us.Google Translation:My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Yamada. Had a great stay here. The hosts are a very nice older couple that were very helpful with tips about the area. The included breakfast was very nice!Only cash payment, and we had some problems getting cash in the village on a weekend and ended up going to the nearby city to solve that.
