I gave it a 3 star rating because the open-air bath in the room was great, but I'm sorry to say that there wasn't much to eat for dinner. The sashimi was delicious.

The facilities are nice, but it's a shame that it's difficult to make plans in advance, as they charge a cancellation fee of one month in advance.Vacations and itineraries must be confirmed several days in advance before reservations can be made.

Although the window in the guest room was small, it was nice to be able to see the sea. I thought it would be better if it had a full-length window.Guest rooms do not have automatic locks. The hotel we stayed in in Yamaguchi City the day before had an auto-lock system, so I forgot to lock it due to that habit, and the person next to me opened it at the wrong time, making it awkward for both of us (lol). Well, it's a memory of the trip.I'm a picky eater, so the breakfast was so big that I couldn't eat it all. All the side dishes other than the hot pot and steamed dishes were delicious, but as a Kansai person, I found them a bit too flavorful. But everyone around me said it was delicious, so maybe I'm the only one who doesn't have a good taste. This hotel was really good, but there was one problem. The smell of cigarettes from the smoking area was wafting through the 2nd floor, which was nice since I was on the 3rd floor, but as soon as I got off the elevator to go to the bathroom on the 2nd floor, I inhaled the smoke and started coughing. It was very difficult for people with asthma.Other than that, the bathroom was nice and the room was clean. Some people came to lay out their futons for us, and I was struck by how old-fashioned this place was.You can go directly to the sandy beach from the hotel. There was also a footbath in front of the gate leading to the sandy beach, and I felt calm as I warmed my feet there and watched the beach at dusk.

I stayed here while traveling with my small child (1 and a half years old).As expected, it was difficult to eat, but the staff kindly arranged for the couple to have different meal times, and the children were able to eat in their room. Therefore, my husband and I were able to enjoy our meal in a leisurely manner, and the children enjoyed the meal and were relaxed. The hot springs are self-sourced. Although it is circulated, it is fully equipped with amenities, so you can use it as much as you like during your stay. There are many toys in the kids room. The sea side room had a wonderful view of Kikugahama.
