Available period from April 1st to November 30th.It's a free forest campsite where you can apply on the day if it's vacant, but it's best to make a reservation because there are events for groups and it gets crowded on weekends. There is one toilet for each gender with a simple tap, and there is a large sink in the kitchen. There are 14 sections, 3 of which are wood decks. There is a reservoir next to it, and the sounds of frogs, birds, and insects can be quite noisy in the summer, but it is a nice campsite with a pleasant feeling of sunlight filtering through the trees. There was a woodpecker pecking at the tree in front of me. Animals may also make rustling noises at night. Although it is not an auto campsite, you can park your car in the area (recommended by the manager). There are several hot springs within a 5-10 minute drive, and there is also a pharmacy within Hanamaki Onsen, making it very convenient. There are supermarkets and convenience stores within 15 minutes.I think it's the best free campsite in the area. recommendation.

Reservations are required, but it is free.I don't think the campsite is very large, but all of the sites are in the forest. This is not an auto campsite. The toilet also flushes. There is a refrigerator and freezer in the kitchen (lol)This is a very nice campsite surrounded by nature.

Ever since I became the current manager, it's been a mess, and I've been neglecting things like trash and charcoal.Cleaning has also become quite neglected.Because the manager's management has deteriorated, I wonder if the manners of the campground users have also deteriorated. It was a really great campsite under the previous manager's time.I would like to return to this wonderful campsite again.ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーWhen I came back a few months later, it was very clean and I felt great and I stayed there for one night! !It's a very nice place, and I hope it stays like this forever, although I know it's hard because it's free.

This is a free camping site that requires advance reservation and application. Before using the campsite, we first called the manager's direct contact number to reserve the date of use, and when we arrived at the site, we applied for use at the administration building before using the campsite. The site seemed to have a large wooden deck and other sites in a well-maintained forest area.We chose the forest wood deck site without hesitation. The manager was a really kind and lovely couple, and they kept the water fountain and toilets clean after we arrived, and they even kept our drinks cold in the fridge, thanks to the manager's kindness. I am truly grateful to the manager and his wife for taking care of me and charging my cell phone.equipmentFlush toilets, water areas, grilling areas, benches, tables,Usage rules1. No open flames allowed2. Take your trash home with you3. Pets are allowed, must be on a leash, and owners must dispose of feces and urine.I really liked this campsite, including the coolness of the quiet forest site, so I stayed there for two consecutive nights. This is a campsite that you will want to visit again and again.

I usually go camping, but this was my first time using it on my Iwate expedition. This is a free campsite that requires advance registration.Since it is in the forest, there are a lot of insects, but I don't think it would be a problem if you are using other campgrounds. (Is it difficult for beginners?)The location and atmosphere of the forest were quite nice, so I took my time. The reception desk was difficult to understand, and the kitchen was large and clean, as it was designed to serve as a nature classroom. As other reviews have said, the restrooms are not very clean, but they are one of the best among free campgrounds.I would like to use it again in the fall!

I went to have a look at the campsite. I think it's easier to do on flat ground.

There is no charge for using the site. The manager is not always needed, but will arrive around 10am, so if you arrive early, please call the manager's cell phone. The site is 5 to 6 meters square, so setting up a tarp is difficult.Vehicles may be brought onto the site. There are many insects in the forest.
