Located very close to the shore of Gosho Lake, this ryokan in operation since the 1990s is bigger on the inside than it appears from outside. The food and baths were good and the service very good. Recommended for anyone in the area looking for a small ryokan with an onsen.Plenty of parking is available across the street in an unlabeled gravel lot. Very few shops are operating in the area so make sure you bring any extra snack and drinks you might want later. There was not a lot to do in the immediate area except for a pair of ashi-yu nearby the inn. If the weather is good then a walk around the lakeshore could be good too.Our room was a little worn in places you would expect it- the door handles, shoji, and some points on the walls. The lobby and hallways were well maintained with a tiny and very cute bar. The onsen was clean and of a good size with a small, tepid rotenburo.Dinner was served in our room. Tasty with lots of different dishes but everything was chilled or at room temperature. Breakfast was much more elaborate with food heated at the table. Salad, yogurt, juice, and coffee were also available. The manager was very friendly and able to answer all our questions. We'll be back next time we're in the area.

Although I arrived late, I was greeted with a smile. I'm really sorry. It's interesting and easy to fold everything up to the hallway. The rice was just the right amount, I could eat it all, and it was delicious. It was a nice stay.

Since it looked like I would be checking in late, I made a reservation with the bento box plan. I had packed a lunch box, but I was surprised by how delicious it was. On the other hand, I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal while drinking beer in my room. The photo is of breakfast. There were a lot of items, but the portions were perfect so the whole family could eat without leaving anything behind. It was delicious.

The hallway is connected to the room by tatami, so it feels nice. The food was delicious and plentiful, and although the indoor bath was a little too hot, it felt good.

The renovated annex is on the third floor with only stairs. The stairs are a bit steep and the bathroom too.Meals are also on the 1st floor, so for elderly people etc. It's hard to go back and forth. At night, you can eat slowly in a private dining room.I'm glad we were able to do it, but there may be a shortage of staff in the morning.I felt like I wanted to leave early.Open the door even though you're still in the roomOpen the gacha gacha,Please do not carry your luggage when being guided after arrival.I went all the way to the third floor without asking if I could bring it.I was guided quickly,I didn't feel any sense of hospitality. The bath was not large, but it was good that there were few people and it was relaxing.Price, customer service, food,I felt like it wasn't worth it.
