A foreigner living in the next room would go out into the hallway many times late at night to smoke, and then throw his lit cigarettes down the hallway and downstairs.There was a smell of smoke coming into the room, probably due to the air conditioning, so when I called the front desk, they immediately came to check on me, but they said they couldn't warn me unless they saw me smoking.The staff's response was quick and very good, but I wish they would have responded resolutely to people who didn't have common sense.The hotel itself was very comfortable and perfect, but I was disappointed that I was disappointed in the neighbor's gacha...

I was happy and pleased with my stay at APA Hotel Shinagawa Sengakuji from 11-15oct. Quiet, away from the bustle areas and conveniently located. About 25 mins express train ride from HND airport(omg 🤔only ¥327, if you have a suica card in your iPhone app!), once reached Sengakuji Station, exit at A2 and on the left side, walk just 2mins to APA hotel! Nearest Yamanote train circle line only 5 mins walk from hotel @Takanawa Gateway. The station is also 1 stop away from Shinagawa. If you wanna go Ginza or Asakusa, take the same express train line from Sengakuji Station!Check-in time is 3pm, if you arrive early.. can leave you luggage with them and come back later to check-in.. checkout time is 10am and if you wanna extend your checkout, every hour additional will be charge ¥2000 (starting in nov)! Likewise for checkout, you can leave your luggage with them and come back later when you decide to leave Tokyo for your later flight! On the right side of the hotel there is also some eateries and convenient store.The room is small, clean and cozy! I requested for a high floor and the view was beautiful! There are water boiler, fridge, coffe/tea sachets and a huge tv in the room. If you a huge-in-size person or travelling as a couple with many luggage might not be ideal. Solo traveller will definitely like the clean, small and cozy room! Hope the information helps..Thank you APA hotel! I thoroughly enjoy my stay! Will come back again!ALwaYs LOve it @Japan🇯🇵

Nice hotel but beware of the cleaning staff!!!We stayed here a couple weeks ago and overall enjoyed our stay. I would have given it a better review for service but the cleaning lady really upset us. We were in the process of getting showered, dressed, and ready for the day when the cleaning lady knocked and insisted on coming into our room to clean. Instead of coming back after we were dressed, she came in anyway! She had me move all of my stuff and cleaned around me while I awkwardly waited in the doorway in my pajamas. Then she proceeded to barge into the bathroom without knocking while my husband was in there. She then just waited outside the bathroom door for him so she could go in and clean it. It made us feel super uncomfortable and really ruined our stay there.

I went on a "two-man trip" with my son, who is in the first grade of elementary school.Unlike preschoolers, elementary school students have to pay the same rate as adults, so it was quite a bit of an expense, but since I couldn't make time on weekdays, I stayed on a Saturday when the rates were more expensive.I checked in with one touch on the app, and the staff noticed that I was traveling with a child and quickly prepared amenities for the child. Wonderful breadth of perspective and awareness ☆The guest room was small, like the usual APA rooms, but my son was very excited about the large TV at the foot of the bed. "Now I can watch YouTube while I sleep!" she said happily.Another great thing about this hotel is that it has a large public bath, and my son said it was "the best!" The melody of the commercial was singing "APA♪SPA♪". We liked taking a bath at night, and the next morning we both went to the public bath together. The air in the open-air bath was nice and pleasant.There was a rest area near the entrance to the public bath, and we were able to see the night view of Tokyo Tower. They say, ``This is the night view of Tokyo!'' (The photo was taken the next morning)Breakfast was buffet style, which was also something my son was looking forward to. It was delicious.Checkout is quick and easy, just by posting your room key, but it's a bit lonely (lol)"I want to stay at the same hotel again!" I am being urged.Once the large buildings around Takanawa Gateway Station are completed and the area becomes more attractive, I think the value of this hotel will increase.It was a shame that the windows were fogged up. It would have been better if we could enjoy the night view and view from the room.

I used a single room last month. The size was just right. The public bath was also very nice. I would like to use it again if I have a chance.
