I visited on a weekday in early September. I thought it would be empty, but it's quite popular. There are probably 12.3 pairs in a space that is not very large. Although it doesn't feel oppressive, I'm a bit disappointed because I want it to be quiet. Luckily no one made any noise during the night. The toilets are not very clean and the washing facilities are minimal. The grass has grown quite long below, and it feels like it gets tangled around my feet after it rains. Even so, the person who took the time to cut the grass worked until dark. Thank you!It started raining in the evening, so I took a break early, but when I woke up to go to the bathroom around 3am, I saw a big shadow near the center of the venue...For a moment, I thought it was a bear, but when I looked closely, I saw that it was a female deer😅The deer was staring at me too, but after a while it went back into the forest. They probably came to scavenge for leftover food. Please do not leave food or anything with a sweet smell out.Visited again on October 11th. This time it was empty. It was a rush to arrive in the afternoon and pull up before sunset, but I was satisfied with the fact that it was almost reserved. I was worried about the cold so I brought all my clothes on, but the sun was out and it was warm enough. I look forward to your continued support next year.

I used it for a night in the car.It is available for free.I can't say the restrooms are clean, which I think women will be concerned about.Although it is about 5km away, there is also a free hot spring, so it is a budget-friendly campground.The area around the toilet is flat, but the rest of the area is on a gentle slope, so please feel free to use it if you choose a location.At night, there are few lights and it is open, so you can see the stars clearly.

There is a beehive in the tree in the second photo, so I can't get close to the washing area. The bees attacked.Bees were attacking my car too, so it wasn't a fun camping experience.

This was my 4th visit. It's free and you don't have to make a reservation, so it's convenient because you can use it whenever you want. I can't say it's well-maintained, but you can use the water and toilets for free, so there's nothing to complain about. Since it is located at the foot of the trailhead, some people leave early in the morning.

I went camping after climbing the mountain, and although it was quiet and free, the toilets and water facilities were well maintained, and I liked that there was a Secoma and a free hot spring nearby.
