[Cooking duck after mountain climbing permeates your body]I received it after climbing the mountain. In the duck bowl, the duck meat was chewy and had a good amount of sauce, which instantly charged my body with energy. It also contained yam, which was good for an exhausted stomach and intestines. The udon set was delicious and warmed my cold body!

2024.05.16.17I'm coming in two days and one night!I came to see the azaleas because I was lured by a false advertisement that said 100,000 azaleas at first sight, but 98% of them are dead! The lodge's homepage says it's the beginning of dispersal, but that's a big lie!If you are planning on coming to see the azaleas, it would be wise to stop!A million books at first sight is a big lie!The lodge smells like mold and the room is full of foot odor! The bottom of the bath looks like a diluted milky white color!Do you think it's just dirty hot water? ?A termite was floating all over! All the staff seemed to be working hard, but when I made the reservation, they asked me if I was climbing a mountain, and I told them clearly that my goal was to see the azaleas, so I called them several times after that, so I should have told them that the azaleas were withering. Be kind!

A million azaleas at first sight.Best time to see in early May.Parking fee is always 1000 yen, no special charge.Get to the top of the mountain while climbing or by ropeway. Ropeway round trip 1500 yen. There are ups and downs and dirt and gravel to go around, so I think it's best to wear appropriate footwear and clothing.Since it is at an altitude of 960m, the temperature is lower than at the foot of the mountain. When the sun is strong, the UV rays are also stronger.I come every year and it's always beautiful. If the temperature and weather are comfortable, you can stay there forever.

Right next to the summit of Mt. KatsuragiThe facility is old but cleanThe room is a fascinating kotatsuLay the futon yourselfIt's cold in February so I turned on the fan heater at night. The bath is a large public bath and feels great. It seems that they also do day trips. In the evening, the duck hotpot is delicious. To finish, you can choose from udon, soba, or rice.At night, you can enjoy the night view and the stars, but be careful of the wild boars. The morning starts at 7:30. When it comes to mountain climbing, it's a little slow.

I visited there because it was lunch time and I was aiming for the top of the mountain to get a bird's-eye view of Fujiwarakyo and Asuka area by riding the cable. A cheerful and cheerful woman responded kindly. There were also hikers.Lunch was around 1,000 yen to 1,500 yen, mainly duck bowl and nabeyaki udon, so it was very cheap and delicious considering it was on the mountaintop. The temperature at the top of the mountain is about 10 degrees Celsius, so you need to keep that in mind. It was snowing that day.
