Ichino Torii Ukimido Aoba Chaya near Araike (I think it used to be called Dondonike). This will also be Takahata~Go up the slope in front of the pond and there is a restaurant on your right. It is usually fenced off, but you can park your car (´°v°)/ Enter the atmospheric main building and enjoy a Kaiseki meal for 10 people including your relatives. They will appear one after another. Even though there are deer🦌 in Nara, there is no sea🌊, so even if it is not locally produced for local consumption, you can enjoy seafood and mountain products. The food was so delicious that the proprietress said, ``Everyone was moving with chopsticks🥢'' It was so fast that the kaiseki cuisine couldn't keep up with it😭. Should I have tasted it more carefully? Not only is the food beautiful, but the dishes also highlight the food, which is impressive. (Is it too much?)Thank you for the meal (*^^*)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay on Christmas Eve at this ryokan (family of 4 with two teens). The family who run the inn were warm and welcoming, taking such great, personalized care of us at every turn. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The room was spacious and kept nice and toasty. Beds are traditional futons and not as comfortable as some others, but we were so pleased with our overall experience it wasn't a major issue. Worth mentioning if comfortable and soft bedding are important to you. We enjoyed a soak in the onsen and were able to purchase crackers for the deer on site. We had our own private park and enjoyed the deer all to ourselves in the evening and early morning as the ryokan is located right in the park. Another review said payment had to be in cash, but that was not the case for us. We were able to pay with a card. Great time here. It's the family who run the establishment that truly elevate the experience.

Stayed overnight with Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. Room is spacious and clean. Location is great as it is located within Nara park. Guest can see deer from the window. The hostess is very friendly and able to chat in simple English. Food is tasty and with a good amount. Both meals were served in the room that we are staying. We secured and reserved the room with a credit card but need to pay in cash

Although I didn't stay in this hostel, I still have to give five stars for the kindness of the proprietress.Because I went to Nara Park to feed the deer, it rained heavily and I thought it was a tea house, but it was actually a hostel to hide from the rain. The proprietress kindly let us hide from the rain, but the rain didn’t stop. Finally, the proprietress gave us an umbrella from her own house and insisted on giving it to us. Even if we didn't spend a penny at her house. Such a kind and friendly proprietress will not let you disappointed.
