I think ratings are divided depending on whether you view this accommodation as a ``hotel'' or ``guest house/minpaku.'' Therefore, I gave an overall rating of 3 stars. If you look at it as a hotel, the ``steep stairs'' leading from the front desk to the guest rooms are suitable for (1) people with preschool children, (2) people with extremely painful knees going up and down stairs, and (3) people over 175 cm tall. (4) This is because I thought there was a high possibility that it would cause inconvenience to people who travel with Rollo Coro Casters. When looking at guesthouses, it seems that there are many cases where used properties are renovated and used, so I think that ``steep stairs'' are also a so-called ``taste'' and are not a problem.Similarly, in the guest room, if you look at it as a hotel, hot water did not come out immediately from the shower or tap in the unit bath, and we were told verbally to wait for 2 to 3 minutes, as if it were normal to wait. If you look at Japan's ``hotel standards,'' you might think, ``Huh?! Hmm...'' but if you look at it as a private lodging/guest house, that's a good thing. If you imagine that you are staying in a country somewhere in the world with inconvenient infrastructure while you are in Japan, then there is no problem.Similarly, if you look at it as a hotel, there are no evacuation route maps or flashlights in the rooms. In the first place, was there a mark distributed by the fire department at the front desk? That's what it feels like. If you are planning to stay here for a night, no matter whether the hot water in the unit bath is slow or there are steep stairs with narrow steps leading up to the guest room, there is no need to worry about disasters. Even if I wake up, I don't know where in the building I should go and how to escape, but I don't know what to do.In the end, I think whether it's good or bad depends on the position of the person staying at the hotel. Do you see it as a hotel? Do you consider it a guest house/minpaku? The official website seemed vague about that. If you're going to be a hotel, make sure you can give directions to the parking lot to customers who come by car. (;^_^AFinallyThe person in charge of the front desk the night I stayed was from a country in Asia that had been under military rule for many years. Rather than having received specialized training in hotel business, he was able to demonstrate hospitality to the best of his ability as an individual. I would like to thank you for your hospitality.

In addition to being an inn, it also has a soba restaurant.Although the building has been around for quite some time, the restaurant areas such as the front desk, dining room, and restrooms have been renovated and are clean. The rooms are clean, but basically feel like a ryokan from the Showa era.The bath was a unit bath in the room along with the toilet. It seems that there was a large public bath when it was first built, but unfortunately it is no longer available. The location is about 10 minutes up the slope from Hozanji Cable Station. I think it would be difficult if it was a caster case. The female staff at the reception and showing us around the building were very kind, and even helped us with our meals the next morning. The breakfast was also of an exceptional quality considering the price. I have included a photo so please use it as a reference. Everything was delicious, and so was the rice. There are great views from both the dining hall and your room. Both the night view and the morning sun leave an impression on me.Overall I'm very satisfied. However, some of the facilities are old and there is no large communal bath, only a small unit bath, so the evaluation may differ depending on the person.I thought I would like to bring my family again.

After playing at Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park, I checked into this guest room in the evening. The road in front of us was the approach to Hozanji Temple, so before dinner we passed through the large torii gate and came to Hozanji Temple, holding hands together. The quiet and atmospheric streetscape will calm your mind. I parked my car at the Monzenmachi parking lot and found a nice and stylish shop and room. The Japanese food we had for dinner was very delicious, but I really wanted to take some soba noodles home as a souvenir for my parents, which were made using special buckwheat flour, so I asked the owner. Since the store was closed the next day and the beans were not freshly ground, he explained in detail how to preserve them, and I felt his enthusiasm. Due to sightseeing the next day, we weren't able to eat soba, but we were able to pass it on to my parents. We were so happy that it was so delicious that we wanted to go eat at the restaurant next time. The overseas staff were also kind. Not only the night view but also the sunrise was very beautiful.

This inn is located along the approach to Hozanji Temple, which has a wonderful view and atmosphere. The food is amazing and the customer service is courteous. After dinner, I was strolling around the neighborhood with my kids, and it happened to stop at Hozanji Station, so we boarded the cute cat cable car and took a round-trip ride. The only bathroom available is a 3-piece unit bath at a business hotel, but if you want to enjoy the hot springs or take a relaxing soak, you can visit the hot spring area. This is one of the accommodations I would like to stay at again.
