Kaiseki was delicious. Next time, I'm going to eat Wakakusa Nabe. Mr. Nakai's customer service was also good and we had a good time.

The accommodation was canceled during the pandemic.I think it was a reasonable decision at the time, but it turned out to be a mistake. I had planned to go with an older friend, but unfortunately he passed away the other day, so I came here 49 days ago.As I had heard from him, it was a very good accommodation. The food is delicious and the location inside Nara Park is wonderful. I'm not sure if the rice is mixed with mochi rice or if it's a variety like Yumepirika, but it's chewy and very delicious.I thought they must have used good quality seaweed as well. It was very fragrant.I liked the quaint building with thatched roof. The fast-talking staff who greeted us upon arrival gave us the feel of a tourist destination, but the young man who served us had a calm tone and made us feel very relaxed. The other staff members who took care of me were also very friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful accommodation that I would definitely like to stay at again.

birthday party for a loved oneI had Wakakusa Nabe at "Edo San" highly praised by Shotaro Ikenami of "Onihei"It's not cheap, but you can enjoy a relaxing two hours in a remote location.Spiny lobster, clams, sea bream, chicken...and a heaping amount of spinach was delicious.Of course, the last ojiya was also the best, recommended ➰

I wanted to eat Asuka hotpot and found this inn when I was looking for it.I gave up on Asuka nabe and went for Edo San's Wakakusa nabe, which was extremely delicious✨The price is a little high, but the hot pot served in a private room (house) was delicious.I would like to go here again during the day❕However, since I visited at night, it was difficult to see my feet, so I thought it would be a bit of a pain to go there. ?However, there were deer outside the room, and we had a new discovery for dinner (lol)

This is the store I use for my memorial service. You can't go wrong no matter who you invite, so if you're coming to Nara for the first time or if you've just moved here, we'll take you along. The taste is a little strong. For first-timers, I think the lunch mini-course is the easiest way to go. The pot is a bit large, and I remember cooking with charcoal, so it's warm in the winter, but I think it's quite hot in other seasons. The staff at the restaurant are all very friendly and I highly recommend that you try eating in their separate room. They also sell items that can be used as souvenirs, including typical Nara items such as tsukudani and Yamato tea bags, so if you are interested, please ask.

I was able to enjoy a wonderful lunch while enjoying the traditional Wakakusa hotpot and being soothed by the open scenery of Nara Park and the sight of deer! From today's point of view, it may seem like a festival hotpot, or rather, it may seem disorganized due to the various ingredients that are included, but it is easy to infer that for people in the past, this was the ultimate feast. It was a very emotional meal to be able to enjoy such a historic hotpot in Nara. The service was polite and the ingredients were luxurious, including spiny lobster, sea bream, conger eel, chicken, wheat gluten, and clams. And above all, the ``dashi soup stock'' was the best! ! !

This was our first experience of staying in a ryokan and we were utterly charmed. The buildings and setting are very quaint and the deer come right up to the windows. Adventurous eaters will find the meals exciting. The sashimi was the best we’ve tried and the staff were friendly and helpful.
