Tokushima Prefecture Katsuura District in Tsukigaya Onsen Tsukinoyado Kaiseki CuisineI chose Tsukigaya Onsen and made a reservation with breakfast and dinner included. I paid the upgrade fee and was looking forward to the Kaiseki meal. Meals are prepared in advance on the table. And only the sashimi platter was served later, probably due to the freshness issue. There was no explanation of the dishes at all. Is Amego famous? The menu was placed on the table, but I couldn't find water or towels. As I was looking around, I saw a sign that said, ``Ori towels, water, etc. are self-service.'' It's surprising that when you eat kaiseki cuisine, you have to go and pick it up yourself. At this point, I thought the inn was old but doing its best, but the food was disappointing. The grilled Amego was meaty and delicious. The meat is soft and very easy to eat, and it doesn't have any peculiar taste, so I'm very satisfied. The timing of the entire dish being served was very slow. I thought it would be provided in a timely manner because I had been checking on it here and there, but there are too many times when I have to wait. I was offered a meat dish called braised pork, but even though I had told them I was drinking alcohol, I wish they would have served it with rice. The rice was not white rice, but pressed Amego sushi. There was no other explanation except that the fried food was Amego tempura. The Kaiseki cuisine as a whole was very unsatisfactory. This Kaiseki meal has been upgraded in both quantity and quality, making me wonder what happened to the regular Kaiseki meal.I was impressed that the staff were smiling and working efficiently, but I felt like they didn't put a lot of effort into the food. It's an old but wonderful inn, so I'd like to come back again, but I'm concerned that the time spent staying there is too short.Restaurant opening hours are too short. I was only able to use the bath for an unsatisfactory amount of time. I'm disappointed that it closes at 11pm. Isn't it too late starting at 6am?I was so satisfied with the bath that I wanted to relax for longer. The room was old, but the cleaning was thorough. The sink smells like sewage. The baths are separated on the 1st and 2nd floors, but the only problem is the opening hours.I wanted to take a bath again and again, so I asked for a bath towel for an additional fee, but they refused. Unfortunately, I was clearly asked to bring it from home. It's a great accommodation, but I was a little worried about the cooking and time management.

No complaints! The room, the atmosphere of the room, the view of the Katsuura River flowing just below, the food, the staff's service, and the large communal bath are all perfect!I've always been interested in hot springs when going to Tsurugiyama Super Forest Road, but this was my first time visiting or staying at one!But after that one visit, I want to come again! That's what I thought!Enjoying a beer while listening to the sound of the Katsuura River and looking at the babbling stream is the best! 🍺😋

I was very impressed with how delicious the food was. In addition to the mountain produce, the sashimi was also fresh and delicious. The standard amago is salt-grilled, but here it was made into saikyo-yaki or pressed sushi, making it more elaborate. The thick shiitake mushrooms and original yuzu ponzu sauce were wonderful, and the vinegared miso and vinegared dishes were also exceptionally delicious. The room was clean and comfortable with a hot water pot and ice water pot, and the air conditioner worked well. The hot spring is Tsurusube's beauty hot spring, and it seems that many locals also use it. The staff members are also very pleasant with smiles and greetings.

The location and food were both very good! I arrived much earlier than the check-in time, but I was able to use the free rest room, which was helpful.Everyone's response was calm and pleasant.I felt that the price was quite low for this quality.Personally, I wish I had paid more for one night.

About 1 hour from central Tokushima. The road was also easy to access.Lunch (amego-zen, shiitake-zen) is satisfying in both volume and taste!Next time I would like to order kami katsudon. The bath was normal, but it was refreshing since I was sweating in the summer.
